Stylstic comparisons between Winky and B-Hop, however tenuous, aren't valid.

Yeah I checked it out and it made zero sense. Since Winky is not Rubio which I do recall you mentioned in one of your past post. And Kelly Pavlik is sure as hell no Paul Williams.

Kelly does not have the speed to catch Winky. Power and volume doesn't mean ****. If you can't touch your opponent. Winky has shown terrific movement in his past fights against Mosley and even in his fight with Taylor. Seeing how Bernard was so effective against Kelly with that tactic I see Winky pulling it off.

 

i respect that opinion that winky would win against pav so long as you would give pav credit if he ***** slapped winky into a late round tko and not say it wasnt the same winky that fought tito :deal

 

I give credit where credit is do. Unlike some other people around who make excuses and cry. When their favorite fighter loses. I'd give Kelly all the credit in the world if he beats Wright. In fact I don't even like Wright. But my boxing brain is telling me he can beat Pavlik.

 

atta boy :good b/c i would actually like to see this fight...i always have. and i know pwilly looked like he would have beat winky even if winky didnt have "ring rust" (i would imagine winky would have been more competitive if he had an easier fight before the pwilly fight) but i would expect winky to be more competitive in general if he and pav fought. i just know we would hear **** about winky being shot or being pwill's leftovers or a shadow of what he was against tito when i think he has some fight left in him.

Saw Pavlik/Taylor 1 and Pavlik/Taylor 2. All those fights showed me was that Taylor had crappy defense. Something that is stupid to do against a power puncher like Pavlik. Winky is not that stupid.

I also saw Wright/Taylor and if your telling me Taylor dominated that fight than your the one who needs to have his eyes examined. Fight was a draw in case you forgot. And the only one in that fight that looked beat up was Taylor. His right eye was closed shut thanks to Winkys jab.

If Pavlik beat Taylor than why didn't he beat B-Hop(who lost to Taylor twice). See thats where your theory loses its credibility. Thats why I never base my prediction on past fights. I only based it on styles. Styles make fights if you haven't heard.
