Got a feeling Roach doesn't want the Mayweather fight

in an ideal world i think all purses would be like this. but i think there are legal reasons why it cannot happen.

 

If mayweather comes in at 75% Arum can negotiate him down to 50-50. If Mayweather comes in at 50% then Arum will get him to 40. its a business.

 

If the Pacquiao beats Cotto, and the Mayweather fight doesn't happen;

Mayweather can fight the Berto vs Mosley winner and get 1.5mil PPV's again.

Who is Pacquiao going to fight, Tim Bradley??? Marquez again?

 

Roach is a moron. Floyd is proven to be more of a draw than Pac. 50-50 pot with 60-40 going to the winner me thinks.

I read someone on the General saying that the rumour is that if Pac beats Cotto he'd be willing to leave Arum to make the Mayweather fight happen. Wasn't a troll either.

 

Roach clearly does not fancy the fight and PBF's sut out win over Marquez has him scared because he knows his fighter makes more mistakes than Marquez and would not only lose to PBF but has an excellent of being exposed and knocked out. Roach and Arum will demand the lions share of the purse which they will never get nor do they deserve. If they get 45% of the purse they should bite off the hand of Golden Boy promotions and Mayweather promotions. The will ask for the fight at 140 which will not happen. If want I think is going to happen in the fight with Cotto happens then a contest with PBF will not happen as Cotto will knockout Pacman and Pacman will have to face his nemesis Marquez again. PBF has lots of options including the Cotto vs Pacman winner, Mosley, Berto etc

I tend to think this will happen because boxing gravitates towards money.

If not its an all mighty scrap to get to Mosely because there really isnt any other massive fight out there.

 

It's a $50M fight, the biggest non-heavyweight fight in history. It will break all PPV records. Concessions will be made and the fight will happen.

What's better, 70% of a $10M purse or 40% of a $50M purse?

i wonder how many men actually believe that they can beat mayweather when they fight him,or if they think "perhaps i have a slight chance,but i know it may be the biggest payday i may get?".
he should be called "clever boy floyd".he wins a few ,takes a few years out,waits for anyone peaking to weaken a bit,challenges smaller men to move up weight to fight him,beats them,takes some time out-and then the cycle starts again...i know i'm stating the obvious,and he is the best defensive boxer out there........but it's starting to bore me.
which is why i'm the biggest pacquiao fan around,there is no substitute for excitement.
