I didn't hate Ward but I have a ton of respect for the guy after Saturday. This fight seems to have united a lot of fans in respect. Well done Carl,still proud of you mate.
This. Froch is a class act, but he's done. Did you see the interview with him & Rachel walking on the beach, the day before the fight? Froch looked totally worn out. Maybe he's ill or something & doesn't want to say so, but I think he's simply aging badly.

i think he s still a very young 34, he looks after himself, looks in great shape, has a hot wife to keep him fit . but losing to ward might be hopkins or toney losing to roy. they still went on to have hof careers. froch might be the best fighter in the middle weight divisions not named ward, he ll be favored over every other 168 er and most 175ers. hope he keeps fighting and for a while . boxing needs more well spoken class fighters. ive become a fan- i got nothing but respect for someone when they admit defeat or faults in life.
he was a breath of fresh air after this fight. i hope he gets a few more titles. i've despised him ever since he beat my fighter jt, but he made no excuses and said ward is better, and i can't wait to heal up so i can go back to the gym and work on things that made me lose that fight. his mind is already on improving his fight game immediately after the fight. i've gained more respect for him in losing than all his other victories put together.
seriously froch is suprising the **** outta me the way he is acting in defeat i am a fan of his but i never thought in a million years he would taking his loss like this makes me like him 10 times more and they way ward dominated him turned me into a ward fan
This is why Froch has grown on me over the course of the Super Six. When it first started, I'd only heard snippets of interviews and quotes on ESB and didn't like the guy. I guarantee you I will be rooting for him against Bute.
