    Sanchez-Nelson for all of the action it had was fought with great skill from both men.

    Griffith-Rodriguez 1 was pretty interesting with good inside fighting at times.

    Emile Griffith supplied much technical skill to just about every bout he was involved in..not of a spectacular, showy, flashy sort of skill, but the subtle, functional skill of a mechanic. He was adaptable to just about all styles that he faced...hard to believe that the guy who played such a cute game vs Dick Tiger was the aggressive physical type vs Benvenuti.
