Floyd Mayweather Vs Victor Ortiz ( USA HBO PPV ) Saul Alvarez Vs Alfonso Gomez ( USA HBO PPV ) Erik Morales Vs. Lucas Matthysse ( USA HBO PPV ) Jessie Vargas Vs. Jose Lopez ( USA HBO PPV ) Said Ouail Vs. Carson Jones ( TBA ) Craig McEwan Vs. Kassim Ouma ( TBA ) Julio Ceasar Chavez Jr Vs. Ronald Hearns ( Tv Azteca ) Tyson Fury Vs. TBA ( Sky Sports UK ) Junior Witter Vs. Stephen Haughian ( Sky Sports UK ) Many interesting fights.
The Mayweather fight and the Fury fight (Providing his opponent is Mike Perez or David Price) are the two that I'm most excited about, also looking forward to the Saul Alvarez, and Morales fights as well. Also if Fury is fighting someone like Martin Rogan or Coleman Barret for the Irish titles then I won't be too interested in that but I'd watch the fight because I like Fury as a good Heavyweight prospect. Also having Junior Witter on the undercard of Fury's fight makes that event more interesting. Never the less a very good night for boxing.
I'm looking forward to it! Povetkin-Chagaev and Helenius-Liakhovich first though! September is going to be ****ing great
Great night of boxing so many to choose from..... I think I wont buy the PPV cus really whats going on here Arum and Mayweather are working together undercover to genorate millions of dollars.... Why the **** would Arum do a split site PPV like that, Saul Alvarez has alot of people who will tune in to seem him, beleive it or not the people in So Cal are talking about him and they do purchase PPVs to watch him they will.... Mayweather Ortiz, of which Ortiz is comming off of a huge upset win Mexican American kid, of which the Alvarez fans likely wont mind watching neither if they Hype the fight right... So again I ask you why are we supporting this? you cant sit here and set up a PPV like this, Floyd will get all the credit for the #'s when in reality a great deal of those #'s will also be from Latino people, but the *****s wont admit to that... but heres the truth, Mayweather vs Ortiz after all of Floyds **** in the last few years is not a fight you can put alone as a PPV event.... lets be real.... Floyds marketability has taken a hit and Arum is there helping him set all this **** up for a big Pac fight, and the entire time Pacquiao is being pimped out by Bob crazy sport we watch it really ****ing is...
Fury Vs. Perez would be great. Junior Witter was great in his time. He is still an interesting fighter. Canelo and Mayweather will make could fights.
Are you the biggest bonehead I've ever seen on this site or in troll mode? (Cool if you are...) Because Arum has no promotional ties with the HBO PPV on September 17th. It is Golden Boy. He is busy doing his Chavez Jr vs. Hearns card. --- And since when did the Mexican population not accommodate for heavy PPV sales? Everybody acknowledges this. And what you say doesn't apply to Pacquiao vs. JMM III PPV? Or Cotto vs. Margarito II PPV? But your argument with that shoots yourself in the foot. Mayweather has only gained exposure fighting one Mexican, JMM in 09 after already establishing he is a hot ticket for years leading to. The only times he has fought a Mexican post Genaro are Vargas, Jesus Chavez, JLC I & II. However, most of Pacquiao's PPV and profile raising fights have been against Barrera, JMM, Morales, Morales X2, Morales X3, Barrera X2, JMM X2, Margarito, JMM X3. All Mexican. From Lucero through Marquez II, a 58 month span, 11 of 12 opponents are Mexican. I think it is safe to say and unarguable that if one of the two superstars benefited from Mexican opposition, it is Pacquiao.
its a great package tho better than some of the **** we are dished up....u r gonna watch it surely ??
Honestly im a lot more interested in the september 10th bouts, though Alvarez vs Gomez and Morales vs Matthysse will be fairly entertaining while they last.
morales mattyse and the mayweather fight **** off tyson fury, and you too chavez jr will probably be a fake knockout like marquez + montiel to complete the trio of paid off kos canelo is cool, but time to step up the ****in challenge kid holy ****
the only question I have about Floyd vs. Ortiz is Floyd's age. Will his age start to show on a night when he fights a strong younger fighter who is southpaw? If Floyd is still sharp he wins this fight easily enough, although Ortiz could trouble him a little for a few rounds. I can see Floyd in this fight stopping Ortiz in the later rounds.
I am going to watch it, becuase of Alvarez and Ortiz, However Floyd is going to be the one who gets the credit for the PPV #'s even though Alvarez will be the one actually drawing the hispanic audience... and *****s will claim a cheap victory here with these bogus numbers that dont belong to him...
