Ahhh, but like with every big name Choc called out - he didn't beat them, because he wouldn't even try and fight them! That's the bottom line, for every big name he called out - "line em up baby" as he'd say, fact remains, he fought ****ing no one. And when he did have to face any particular fighter again (ahhh, Kessler and Geale spring to mind here), he ran for his ****en life. Oh and by the way, just because anyone say's it like it ****en is, doesn't make them a hater. 99% of people on here would support Anthony if he'd had actually found his bottle and acheived just 20% of the 'world domination' type fights he bandied on about. As it stands, world domination amounted to Argentina. Lionel Rose may have a statue in Victoria, but it will be nothing to the monument they build for Anthony in Buenos Aires! Need I go on further??? 'End ****ing of' as the Pommies would say!
We have now have multiple artists who can take care of this type of commissioned artwork for you Bobby...
I've told you guys before - don't lay that Grantlee wrap on me, man - he's a hater and a big fat fony. PS Ray Wheatley's The Greatest Vol 2 - available at all good newsagents $9.95 - well worth the money
...and a capital 'D' on word deluded when it comes to the Mundine nuthuggers. It was their hard earned cash that perpetuated the Mundine farce, and their remaining pride doesn't allow them to admit it.
Mundine & his management are alot smarter than anyone gives them credit Mundine has just treated boxing how it should be treated, its a mugs game for mugs, he's beaten the system, he's come out of it financially in front relatively unscathed, thats a winner in my book All this talk how he's taken the Australian public for fools etc, is a load of ****, if people are silly enough to buy tickets to his fights, use pay per view etc, then thats their fault, let the buyer beware He's had family around the sport for a long time, all that time watching boxers crawl away from the game with nothing but an alchohol dependance & brain damage whilst the leaches that hang off them get rich, has obviously had the desired effect on choc, that kind of **** tends to breed cynisism, so its nice to see the odd fella buck the trend & build a nice little empire from being really quiet average, thats the way boxing deserves to be treated
Agree with most of what you say above W-O-R. But the thing that made his easy ride possible WAS the fact that he was able to 'take the Australian public for fools.' Had the dills who thrived on Mundine's long distance relationship with the truth not bought his mismatch PPVs one after the other, he would have simply been forced to fight better quality opponents. A simple case of the deluded being fleeced by the clever.
CHB I just cant agree with this post and the part in green......When Mundine fought average guys in the last 3 or 4 years PPV numbers were very modest so its impossible to say he was This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
