Pissed me off that my guy Chambers didn't win but that was the best Wlad fight I've seen in a while. He was more aggressive than in his previous fights and brutally KO'd the man. I give props to the champ. Hopefully some of these promising USA HW prospects pan out and we can watch some HW championship fights in the states again. Thoughts?
Wlad dominated a very skilled fighter and ended it with a KO, it was a good win and an outstanding performance. It seems like Wlad hasn't lost a round in years, I understand how it can be frustrating to those that dislike him.
I am not a fan of him but you can't (if your an objective Boxing fan) help but admire such dominance and execution.
He got the KO but it was not a 'great' performance. He did as expected and a win is a win but it's no surprise. I thought Chambers did good and did pretty much all he could.
He dominated a 209 pound fat heavyweight with pretty good skills that he shouldnt gotten out of there in the first 4 rounds.
Keep in mind that Wlad has not fought in several months. This performance tonight was with lots of ring rust. I don't see anyone currently being able to beat a healthy Wlad.
That's not his style. He probably should've gotten him out of there earlier but Chambers is a pretty durable guy.
Chambers is skilled but he had everything againsed him. When you consider all that it was an 'ok' performance.
I'm more of an mma fan then boxing and I thought he had a perfect fight hardly took a flush punch never lost a round and knocked him out cold. The guy has hardly taken any damage a hardly lost a round but yet people spend more time hating on the guy then anything else.
Chambers was quite probably the best HW whose name isn't Klitschko. And he was completely dominated for the entire fight. Tried his best. Even a couple of MMA moves. Picked Wlad up and threw him to the canvas (which should have brought a warning first time and a pointdeduction on the second attempt). Made no difference. Didn't win a single round and got KOd cold. It's a pity there's no one out there who can give either Klitschko a serious challenge.
we have not seen a greater hwt than Wladimir Klitschko. what this man is doing is beyond Ali, Tyson or Holmes. This is the perfect ultimate premier destroying machine in the history of pugilism. it's a privilege to watch such exceptional excellence. Chambers was made to looke like a hopeless bum when in reality Chambers could take rounds from Holyfield, Holmes, Frazier, Foreman even Ali. Chambers had nothing tonight, he almost got killed.
