    Longevity is part of the game. Jones ducked a lot of fighters and has been exposed later in his career with a pure china chin. You can't just forget/not count what has happened in the last few years. If you do that then you can forget about Jones-Toney as James was in bad shape, same with the Thadzi fight.
    It's a silly argument what some of you are putting forward.

    Or when i asked you to explain why do you think Hearns has a better record than Duran.

    It's a shame that Jones did not retire after the Tarver fight....there was a time when he was easily seen by most people as top 20, now he is just a big joke. Just goes to show what happens when you stick around for too long.

    Longevity doesnt matter when there is a ten year period when toney did absolutely nothing of note.

    Toney = most over-rated fighter, potentially ever, who got beaten several times during his glory days and had some robbery decisions

    Jones Jr = a guy who in his prime, is potentially the toughest to beat P4P H2H, not to mention handed Toney a beat down in their respective primes.

    This topic must be a joke, Toney is nothing, absolutely nothing, compared to RJJ. Dude is one of those guys that had a couple good wins against okay opponents and has been living off of that for years.

    His fight with RJJ was laughable, I wish I had that gif handy. Jones taunted Toney, Toney tried to do the same thing and ended up getting punched and landed on his ass....:rofl Possibly one of the funniest moments in boxing.
