Why in the hell would a 6-4 or taller fighter want to bob and weave and waste all that energy when they could use range.

    Are you simple?

So they don't get knocked out by Lamont Brewster. So they don't get clowned by Tyson Fury??

To have success against Riddick Bowe on the inside?

What do you think would happen to WK inside the wheelhouse against Bowe?? He'd get dismantled in brutal fashion because he didn't have any movement or skill in there like Golota had.

And range?? What range? The guy couldn't keep cement booted Sam Peter at range ffs :nut::sisi1

    The Ugric languages

The Ugric or Ugrian languages (/ˈjuːɡrɪk/ or /ˈjuːɡriən/) are a distinct branch of the Uralic language family. The name Ugric is derived from Ugrians, an archaic exonym for the Magyars (Hungarians) and Yugra, a region in north-west Russia.

Ugric includes three subgroups: Hungarian, Khanty, and Mansi. The last two have traditionally been considered single languages, though their main dialects are sufficiently distinct that they may also be considered small subfamilies of three to four languages each. A common Proto-Ugric language is posited to have been spoken from the end of the 3rd millennium BC until the first half of the 1st millennium BC, in Western Siberia, east of the southern Ural mountains. Of the three languages, Khanty and Mansi have traditionally been set apart from Hungarian as Ob-Ugric, though features uniting Mansi and Hungarian in particular are known as well.

Hungarians, also known as Magyars (Hungarian: magyarok), are a nation and ethnic group native to Hungary (Hungarian: Magyarország) and historical Hungarian lands who share a common culture, history and speak the Hungarian language

More things to learn about Dino.

    1) His prescription for fighters with shallow gas tanks is more movement and effort

    2) Dino thinks it best to judge fighter's on their penultimate performance at the age of 40.

    3) Dino thinks a flash in the pan heavyweight who abandoned his excellent, long game to take power shots on the inside and have his career over at 28 is the prototype for the tall, long superheavy. He prefers this model to one who dominated the division for a decade and is in the argument for the all time Top 8.

    4) Wlad was recognized by trainers and opponents as having an ATG jab, but Dino begs your pardon on this issue because he knows better.

Well I do prefer guys who had the toughness , talent and grit to throw down in close over guys who disgraced the sport with constant illegal bear hugging tactics which were used to hide a huge deficiency in skill.

Maybe if Bowe had the benefit of being a German house fighter and with the help of corrupt referees , he could have avoided all contact in close like Wlad did by laying down on guys backs.

Does Seamus think Wlad had any way of defeating Povetkin other than back humping him to death? Would his non-existent range-control have let him down had a ref been in there enforcing the rules.

Didn't Golota get knocked himself in about 5 seconds by Brewster?

His amazing movement and skill in the wheelhouse saw him punched straight to the sh1thouse.

What you are talking about is diaspora and nationalities....Slavic by itself is a ethnicity just as Maygars are a ethnicity....and this is the problem when someone poses a benign question without stating the specific meaning of the question or maybe does not know the difference

I have. IMO, Ibragimov had more talent than Chagaev. They were scheduled to fight as pros. A pity that did not happen!

The other guy to watch un the way up is Russian Arslanbek Makhmudov. He might be the best pure punchers I've seen in a while. How hard does hit?. As hard or harder than Wlad. This man has a pair of sledgehammers for fitsts. When he hits his man, they get hurt quickly and stay hurt. Makhmudov has a very good chin tested in the very pro like world amateur boxing series. A fair boxer & one intimidating Mo'f.
