    Never quite understood why Finito moved up when he could have passed Joe Louis's run(both in number of defenses and longest reign undefeated):huh

    He just couldn't make weight. His last two fights at straw he was a shell of himself.

    Joe Louis because he did fight all of his # 1 contenders and held the lineal belt with no other split tiltle...there was only one Heavyweight Champ in his day just Joe Louis

    You might be right, although I don't remember much talk about him having problems making weight other than the first Alvarez fight.

    Now that I think about it, I think the greatest title run of all time was never allowed to happen, because Ali was stripped of his title in his prime.

    No offense to Joe but he fought the bum of the month club. If that is the case Ricardo Lopez is tied for 1st along withhim.
