Tito not only beat fighters he destoyed them literally!

Oba Carr (top contender at the time, after that beat down he never again saw the top 5 at welterweight!)

Yuri Boy Campas (I thought he was dead after that KO, one of the worst broken noses I have ever seen I thought it stabed him in the brain or something)

Fernando Vargas (This 21 yo kid was the truth until he ran in Tito, the 12th round was brutal, he lost al lot more than a boxing match that night, he lost his prime and a chance at a glorious career)

William Joppy (he looked like Trevor Berbick may he rest in peace, after the last KD, hewas never the same fighter never a top MW again)

Ricardo Mayorga ( This guy had never been down and was one bad mother ****er until Tito beat the **** out of him and showed him who the real bad ass was, Tito definitely softened up his chin for ODH )

With all this Tito hate around here I thought it was time to remind you all what a bad ass mother ****er my boy Tito Trinidad was in his prime most of thes guys at campaigning at WW now a days could not hold his jock strap period!

Thanks. I hate it when people try to act like Tito wasn't a special fighter.

at least he lost and got mad respect from everyone he pushed the fight the whole time and never backed down or faked low blows ala hopkins who had to resort to "*****" moves to survive against calzaghe, and after the fight he gave props to hopkins, something "ex convict" didn't do against joe, now who's the *****??????:yep :yep :yep :yep :yep

the thread starter seems to be a fan boy of one of the above mentioned that tito destroyed, tito was a beast at welterweight one of the greats, his punching power was ridiculous.People seem to forget just before hopkins no one thought tito would ever lose, the whole world was on that bandwagon then and i don't believe any1 who says different now

Absolutely....I think his greatest stretch was this 5 fight stretch:

Oscar DeLaHoya - For the unified welterweight title
David Reid - For the Junior Middleweight championship
Mamadou Thiam - Frightening display of power, closed both them eyes.
Fernando Vargas - For the unified Junior Middleweight championship
William Joppy - For the Middleweight championship
Bernard Hopkins - For the Middleweight championship

Just pure excitement and enjoyment.....For my money Tito is the greatest finisher of this "era" and there was NO ONE I would rather watch fight..

Thiam quit in the middle of a combination and just turned his back and walked away .... "No mas" style !

The win over Vargas, with lowblows included.
