One couldn't be faulted for having this view, though I obviously disagree. Depends on one's definition of "signature win."

    That is fair.

However this is the internet so obviously I have to take our disagreement personally and argue minor points as though we are constitutional scholars.

It's not good form to have more than one signature.
Having multiple signatures suggests some sort of fraud.

I've always thought "signature win" means the ONE single win that underlines or authenticates the quality of the fighter's career. ala a signature.
Otherwise we'd call it something else, surely.

"NO fighter can fight when addicted to Anti-Depressants" - No Fighter, Not Muhammad Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Greb, Langford, Dempsey, Robinson, Mayweather NOT One of them stands any chance of beating my local clubfighters, while addicted to anti-depressants.

Mike Tyson turned up for the money, $35m or more. He put up 10 seconds of offensive fight, then soaked up his beating so as to collect his payday.

Your point about Ruddock is flawed. Razor Ruddock took a brutal beating in his second bout with Tyson. Ruddock had his jaw, cheekbone and eye-socket smashed by Tyson, and was a shell of a fighter the night he fought Lewis (i was there) Ruddock never threw a single punch in a pathetically, hyped-up mismatch. Ruddock's performance was pathetic, the fight had already been brutally knocked out of Razor.

    I too miss the internet.

On topic (and he might have been mentioned) de la Hoya. Who is his signature? Chavez? Ruelas? Vargas?

I'm not sure he had one by either my or your definition.

Hmmmm.........good question. Not sure he has one. The closest would probably be Vargas. Arch-rival, emphatic ending.......

    B Leonard and Pernell.

I don't get laughing at tyson being diminished because of drugs, anti depressants are serious ****, add personal use to it and you have an obvious cocktail for disaster.

i'm laughing at his complete post. He's a Lewis hater of the highest order. Go and have a look at some of his posts, not just on Lewis. I have no idea what Tyson definitely was and wasn't on and at what time.

I agree with this....I was impressed by Vitali in this bout...he faintly reminded me of a heavyweight Monzon at times.
