yeah i go for knicks in every game except when theyre playing the lakers, when melo goes there they will definitely be a superteam. haha yeah i dont really mind if the celtics win they kind of deserve it i just hope it goes down to game 7 again. like you i hope lebron the self procaimed king never gets the chance to see one of these rings except when hes kissing kobes hand. yeah rondo is definitely the king of assists he always makes space for guys like razor ray and pierce to drop the long threes its incredible how he cuts through teams d's
Yeah thats like me massive Celtics fan but go for the Knicks against anyone else except the Celtics. I cant stand LeBron & love it that the C's dish it up to him always lately. KG plays with his mind lots. The West has deeper quality units, but the East's top 3/4 are much stronger & be close to one another near seasons end, whereas the Lakers should be clear by 10 games at seasons end in the West.
yeah the east is always good to watch at the back end because its always tight. ive been following the trailblazers a bit just to see if patty mills is getting and game time but it looks like hes been benchwarming so far, hopefully he can get some minutes up during the season the kids got potential to be a solid contributor
If he was in a weaker non playoff team i have no doubt he will get some serious gametime. But he will struggle with Andre Miller starting & since the Blazers also picked up the solid Wesley Matthews from Utah. I fear Mills will be back playing D-League again soon.
yeah my thoughts exactly when they got miller. its a shame , the best thing for him would be to get traded but hes just signed off on a new deal. ahh anyway im off to watch some scottie pippen highlights
Yep, only took five fights including one of the most disgraceful matchups in Australian boxing history. True warrior. And here I was questioning why guys like Geale, Katsidis, and Darchinyan get less attention for their efforts, when obviously Green outdoes them yet again.
only one common name to the two biggest fight in oz history- green green green $$$$$ :good when any of those you mention achieve anything close to this come tell me about it?! :hi:
And De La Hoya v Mayweather is the biggest fight in boxing history - therefore a) making them the best fighters who ever lived and b) the best fight in combat sport history.
Green talks up bigger, faster Flores by Daniel Lane - smh - Nov 10th 2010 WHEN Danny Green enters the ring to defend his IBO world cruiserweight title against undefeated American BJ Flores in Perth next Wednesday, he will concede six years in age, eight centimetres in height, at least 10 kilograms and a 45-centimetre reach. This content is protected Green, who was cleared by Western Australia's Professional Combat Sports Commission of any wrongdoing over his fight in July in Perth against Paul Briggs, said he had moved on from the controversy of the 29-second knockdown to focus on Flores. "I think Flores will be 98 kilos when we fight," said Green, who should weigh 88kg. "I reckon he'll put on the eight kilos - minimum - after the weigh-in. I've put on six myself after a weigh-in and I know [super flyweight] Vic Darchinyan has also put on six kilos in the countdown to a fight. "He'll be the heaviest bloke I have fought. He's big and strong, and he'll also be one of the fastest fighters I've ever faced. His hand speed is phenomenal and, internationally, his jab is regarded as one of the best. "I picked this fight; none of the other world cruiserweight champions have wanted to fight Flores, but the challenge of this bout really appeals to me. "There's no secret about boxing, it's a matter of who gets in first. My job is to pressure this guy and to destroy his will. BJ Flores will be taken to a new dimension on fight night, he'll go to a place he's never been in the boxing ring before and it'll all be unfamiliar territory for him. "For him to be victorious he'll need to go to a new place. I've been in the trenches before and dug my way out … I'm going to need to put him in a deep trench and see how he reacts." Flores gained the nickname ''El Peligroso'' - or ''Dangerous'' - when he trained in a gym in one of the poorest, and toughest, parts of Mexico where he served as a Mormon Missionary. He is hailed by some American critics as one of the sport's rising stars. The 31-year-old, who regularly spars Britain's WBA world heavyweight champion David Haye, yesterday arrived in Sydney, where he'll stage a public training session before flying to Perth. "I'm aware he's sparred Haye, but he's going to find there is a difference between sparring someone and fighting somebody who really wants to punish him," Green said yesterday. Green has used two fighters of different styles to prepare for Flores by flying out the much taller Mike Wilson, a two-time US super heavyweight amateur champion, and lightning-fast New Yorker Anthony ''Ice'' Greenidge, who was recently defeated for the WBO Youth middleweight crown. Wilson said Green displayed an intensity that superseded anything he'd experienced as a fighter. ''Danny is a different kind of beast; I've never been in the ring with anybody like him," Wilson told the Herald. "He has the speed and power, and he makes you cautious about throwing a punch because he counters so quickly and effectively.''
thanks CHB, it would be intresting to see the open workout and see how much BJ has progressed since his last open workout around 8 weeks ago.
