Mate you should take over running NSW boxing because you could not do any worse that is for sure. ANY FOOL that allows fights to go ahead with Mundine vs these low life bums and that JOKE of a mismatch with Sonny Bill it just shows NSW boxing is a joke. Briggs a man who took on Adamak twice and did WELL twice is not allowed to fight in NSW yet some guy with a losing record can come over here to be a punching bag.
Wayne, i think that show was a discrace, you will get no argument from me about that one, so what exactly was the point your tryn to make besides throwing Kats name into the mix? I have made many valid points, proven that paul has lied about his health and you havent addressed a single one of my points? What was your purpose here Wayne? oh thats right, Katsidis lol sorry please contuine your dribble. Danny Green is just as BAD if not worse than mundane, he is a hypocrite old school bogan! He is now throwing a tantrum because he thinks he knows better than the authority that governs this sport, the dckhead is now making threats for legal action. Danny Green vows to have Briggs bout ban overturned in court http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sp...rturned-in-court/story-e6freygr-1225889761130 Last but least Wayne, how the bloody hell does Briggs get a so called World title shot after being retired for almost 4 yrs due to health problems? If you cant debate Wayne why even bother to post a reply?
so nervous tension is now confirmed nuerological damage? if you've ever had a fight - go and get a catscan done. See what the results are atsch he confirmed he had a breakdown before cancellation time marty mcfly http://www.perthnow.com.au/sport/ot...with-danny-green/story-fn4pw13c-1225881741457
m8 polish it up all you want, its still a turd. He has nuerological damage proven through his trainers observation and testimony as well as scans that showed he had problems with his nervouse system. I colour'd it in red for ya lol We all know about his breakdown etc whats that got to do with his trainers statment and the results of the scans he had done in 2007?
you can have post concussion syndrome which can last months (although usually 7-14 days), can be associated motor slowing (reaction time, speed) and impaired executive qualities (decision making) and other symproms and have completely normal MRI and CT. Again im not saying that he did have anything neurological. When i was reading about it at the time of his retirement 3.5 years ago they were talking about "adrenal fatigue" which doesnt really exist, well not in the context that they were talking about anyway.
No Point in blaming NSW boxing either guys, blame Green & Briggs for playing us all like fools! They thought they would try the same game with NSW boxing but nope it didnt work and backfired in their face! Now Greens credibility has been put in the spot light and its about dam time! hahaha expect to see NSW boxing release a statment within the next few days,. we are not being told everything, Greeny wants to keep us in the dark and feed us bullsht!
was his EX trainer a doctor? Colour that in red. Where are the results of this test spoken about by an ex trainer. If you know so much, what were the specifics of these neurological tests - which particular areas were affected. You can't answer it because they never could identify any particular problem - ask him about it, i have.
For a reasonable perspective on this. Boxing has been under the pump from the medical fraternity for a long time now. It is the reason that after even a TKO loss there is a mandatory no training or competition period of 4 weeks. In league if you have a concussion you can be training during the next week and play the next week, and they will often go back out the same game. For political, insurance and public status reasons boxing authorities have to be cleaner than clean and more by the book than other sports (this will happen very soon in the UFC too!!!). Now when a guy retires for health reasons and publically says so, and you have politicians and doctors just waiting to have a go at you, it is understandable why they would be extra conservative with sanctioning it. I feel strongly that if the doctor says he is fine (provided that s/he is independant) then you cant really stop it on medical reasons. I can understand why a nervous administration might be looking for a reason to stop it though. Im not saying that its right. They should have good independent doctors and live by their decisions. If they want him to have a warm up fight they really should have said so very early on. Also was this fight being advertised before it was actually approved? Was it approved and then cancelled? What was the exact approval status initially?
Ty is this the same commission that were in charge of Green-Jones Jr? I seem to remember you were taking a slightly difference stance on them about that.
I found Jesus mate! lol ... Exellent post Kruger without going into particulars, i will be the first to stand up and give the NSW boxing board a round of applause when they do the right thing, in this case they have done so i believe Leon. The Green RJJ saga is still on the table but im sure we will have closure on that one once RJJ has had his day in court.
The state bodies get bagged when they allow mismatches, and get bagged when they knock them back. I'd rather they get it wrong in rejecting fights, than wrong in allowing them. How anyone can think Briggs fighting his first fight in 3yrs against Danny Green is a good move is beyond me! Paul was a great fighter, and I'd love to see him have a great fighting future, but to jump out of retirement into fighting Green is not a smart move on a number of levels.
