Guys, don't feed the tick - he tried to undermine Flores when Green was due to fight him, even bet on a Flores win, then he did the same for Tarver, said he was past it, too old, coming down from heavy where he looked terrible, wouldn't be in shape, wouldn't take his shirt off at sparring, etc - now he's starting on Wlodarczyck.

 

That was before the guy OD on anti depresents and was put into an induced coma only being released from Hospital 6 weeks ago, im watching his last fight now to see what his condition was like however his last fight was 5 months ago prior to his health issues. Hard to pick this one but it should be no suprize i am suspect on this as its Danny Booshay Soft Part of the Skull, Ducking Tarver Green we are talkn about here, the guy is no bloody saint!

 

Just been told... Tomlinson is fighting the Argy lad as the semi main for the IBO title.

The fact is that Danny didn't want people to think he was disrespecting Tarver by looking past that fight and Wlod shouldn't of spoken to reporters about an offer to fight Danny in Nov.
I remember stifflers mum posting an article about 6-8 months ago that said Danny was looking at the possibility of fighting Wlod in Adelaide.
So he has been on GMB radar well before the overdose.

The boxing rematch between Danny Green and Antonio Tarver has been put on ice for now, with Green instead locking in a fight with Poland's Krzysztof Wlodarczyk in Perth on November 30.

Wlodarczyk - a two-times world champion who boasts a record of 45 wins (KO 32), two losses and a draw - is the current holder of the WBC cruiserweight world title.

The 29-year-old previously held the IBF cruiserweight world title after dethroning American Steve Cunningham.

Green lost his IBO cruiserweight world title to 42-year-old Tarver in Sydney in July when his corner threw in the towel after a bruising ninth round.

The 38-year-old West Australian was keen to organise a rematch but said negotiating with Tarver proved too difficult.

Green claimed Tarver had no intention of staging the rematch before the end of the year and had been secretly negotiating with other boxers.
Green also revealed Tarver threatened to cancel the last fight between the pair on at least three separate occasions.

"Three weeks out from the original fight, this fight that just happened, I got an email," Green explained on Tuesday.

"I was never going to announce this but Antonio Tarver's been a bit clever.

"He stood over us for $100,000. He wanted $100,000 over and above what the (original) contract stated, or else the fight was off.

"A week out from the fight there was another issue, the fight was off, he was going home.

"The night before the fight, the fight was off, he was going home.
"As a fighter, you just don't want to deal with this thing.

"You just want to go and do your job and concentrate on winning the fight.

"He's a very complicated guy. He's cagier outside the ring than he was inside the ring, so that will give you an indication of just how hard the guy is to deal with."

Green said Wlodarczyk would provide him with a stiff challenge.
"I was world champion before my last fight, and I want to be world champion again. And to fight for the WBC title against Wlodarczyk, who's one of the premier cruiserweights in the world, is a massive thing," Green said.

"And for me, my first fight back after such a devastating loss, I'm very excited."

thats about what i bet on Tarver, i posted it on the forums as did others at the time, u work out the odds and what i collected, it was a nice sum of money thanks! :good might be able to do it again, still watching Wlodarczycks last fight! Hope he dont ask for more money or threatn to pull out if Danny uses loaded gloves, more excuses for Dannybooshay then when he gets his azzhole handed to him by a legit CW.

Fact is fact, Wlodarczck was sick 6 weeks ago and not in a good condition to be defending his title, if this has not changed then Danny will win easly as he did against Paul Briggs, if WloDarczck has shook his demons then Dannys going to loose again! this time he will get knocked out by a CW whos not considerd a hard puncher in the CW division. Even sweeter if you ask me but personally i wanted to get me Taver TKO Victory T Shirt and Skirt on! ya know! :hey

I agree and if Wlod is in tip top shape mentally this will be a decent fight but if he ain't all there then it will just add petrol to the hate Danny Green fire that is burning in a few so called fans of the sport , good luck both lads and let's hope thus fight has a positive effect on the sport .

 

If Danny wins this fight he will retire again you can bet your house on it. He will do exactly what he did when he won the LHW crown. He is already hinting that it will be his last fight.

 

will be interesting to see what happens if he does win and the org demands he fights cunningham, huck or similar as mandatory .......

having said that if diablo is healthy and stable i will definately give props to green for this.

just find it strange that this was not on the cards b4 the documented od (very well could of been but to my knowledge it wasnt cause wlod was pissed with danny) and his constant flip flops on promoting fights.

i hope wlod is well because a loss after an episode he has just been through could be very detrimental to his state of mind.

Danny told other people the offer to Wlodarczyck was not true and he knew nothing about it. This was at the end of June before Wlodarczyck over dosed on anti depresants.

 

As he would if he didnt want to look past tarver as dawssy has pointed out. unfortunately this is not what wlod said.

anyways hope it comes off looking good for everyone.
