where did you get that from?? have always said Kenny deserved the rematch eventually.

get a 10 rounder in the states during august. then Anderson early October then go for the European before the year is out.

people talking about world titles are crazy. have groves fighting on sky sport, in london try and build him up as a name on his own right no cos of Haye or DeGale.

Groves needs to move on and step up. He has beaten both DeGale and Anderson and stopped Anderson decisively in a tough fight. I would suggest he beats Paul Smith if the fight can be made and defend the Lonsdale belt against him and or then Brian Magee. Fight some quality Americans or interenational guys and go for the European as part of preparation for world titel challenges. Interesting that both Froch and Haye who have sparred with DeGale and Groves knew Groves could win.

On Five Live he suggested that he may be a PPV fighter now

If he moves to Sky Box Office then suffice to say that is a disgrace and very ill advised move. Keep him busy get him out a minimum of three times before the year is out and he can target a world title next year.

I think he's now going to get that platform on Sky now. It'll be interesting how him and Nelson interact on Ringside next time he's on though

They'll probably just keep doing what they're doing, it'll be a tough journeyman on the Haye undercard in July, then whoever the board nominate as mandatory challenger after that.

They might be able to push him in the States too, they love the man that beats a hypejob (in their words, not mine :D).

I certainly don't expect to see him stick solely to the domestic scene.

i doubt he fights on Hayes card, only 6 weeks away. Anderson and Magee are good fights. DeGale, Anderson and Magee to win the lonsdale belt don't think many have done it tougher than that?

he has a deal with goldeboy to do 2 us fights a year.

yeh i heard that interview i wouldnt take it to seriously. 6-7 fights on normal sky and his world title can be PPV.

Why is stood and fought with Anderson when from yesterdays performance he is clearly a good boxer/counter puncher.

I think this would be a decent fight for Groves. If he boxes the same way he did last night, he'd win every round against Anderson.

Paul Smith would be a good fight as well but Anderson and a DeGale rematch are all logical options.

I know what you mean, I was thinking perhaps Groves doesn't have the power people said he did, but he was on the back foot and did seem to be more focused on making James miss then hurting him, so the shots he was using to win rounds weren't really thrown with much venom. I do remember his shots troubling Degale on occasion though, especially that 10th round, and James' face was pretty marked up afterwards.

I expected Degale to be a lot harder to hit for some reason...
