No need for this fight to happen again.

Groves is number 1 domestically and should be looking at other options like getting on some goldenboy undercards.

Degale needs to earn another shot

I'm not too keen on the idea of a rematch, the first effort was hardly and edge of your seat war. The irony is of course that despite the defeat DeGale will get a world title tilt before Groves

Ah, I see. I misread your original post. I thought you meant that the only people who would have scored the fight to DeGale were "the ones who were bigging DeGale up despite no evidence to justify it."

    My bad. :good

i agree it wasn't an all action war, but it was extremely tense and a good fight to watch - not for the action but for the tension and tactics.

Yes it does seem wrong, but Degale will fail again shortly, he is trying to run before he can walk. Groves is being patient and methodical.

Sadly for George he signed for the wrong promotor when he went with ******. After that win over DeGale for ****** to put him in with Smith was a joke. Smith didnt deserve a shot at Groves and Groves got rid of him quick. While DeGale got the European title fight Groves is behind DeGale. DeGale will get a world title shot before Groves. If ****** had sense he would be on the phone to Brian Magee and getting Groves a title fight against Magee a great test and it is a World title fight thats winable for Groves in my view.

Who should he have signed with then?

Matchroom pulled out of a deal to sign him.

He should of went to 1 of the Sky 3 promotors. No one would of said no to him after the Degale fight. Maybe he was looking for too much money and thats the reason Matchroom pulled out. With Sky not doing PPV fights it wouldnt work out to have him if he was looking for huge money. No doubt about it Boxnation will have a PPV or 2 in the coming months and if Degale v Groves 2 happends it will be PPV again.

Matchroom pulled out because they wanted full control of Groves but they only wanted to give up his UK rights.

Groves beats degale every time it's like Holyfield Tyson all over again . Groves quite simply has his number.
