I would favour Degale but any talk of a mismatch is stupid at this stage

I still have a feeling Groves is gonna pull this one out of the hat.

Kenny Anderson was a much bigger test than Paul Smith IMO.

Don't get too excited by what you have read in Boxing Monthly though he nearly had me convinced!!!

In years to come Groves win against Anderson might be seen as by far the more impressive I still think DeGale wins but in a close fight no way is it a mismatch.

Groves' defence is so poor, not a mismatch but not far off.
DeGale is a much better all round fighter imo and would win by late stoppage.

i know! thats because people couldnt spot talent if it smacked em in the mouth. groves is a good combination puncher and thats it. he has little defense, ring smarts or foot work. unless he works on these areas he has no chance. degale on the other hand is good at everything. he's pure class.

but as for mismatch? no more than smith degale was. at least groves will throw punches.

Huge difference between having stylistic advantages over an opponent and it being a mismatch. Groves coming forward with his hands low and chin in the air plays into Degales hands and Adam Booth needs to stop pretending this kids a small white ginger Haye and tidy his technique up. He's a much better fighter than he's showing but the talent on the level as Degale so to say its a mismatch is madness.

Plus that crucial variable of having heart and winning when in trouble has been shown by Groves, who's to know Degale wouldnt fold under the same pressure?

 ****ing big dollop more like.
I think Kenny Anderson is a pretty solid fighter very big for the weight and i think Groves did well to dig himself out of the shite he was in, showed a true fighters heart.
I think it would be a great British tear up but i would favour Degale but I think degales chin has not been put to the test yet.

It's verging on a mismatch yes, this is going to look like the Smith fight, but with groves getting stopped earlier.

Groves looked TERRIBLE against Anderson, who is now getting overrated by the groves fans. a real eye opener
