I dunno so much. Most people think it is way to early for him to challenge for a title. Most people (on here) also fancied Anderson so I think he is getting rated pretty fairly.

I think Brits rate fighters too little than too much. Pretty hard crowd to please are us Brits.

Yeah, now that was a spectacular 'Donald' :good

I just feel sorry for Kenny and the undercard. All this would of been avoided if the bids wern't revealed till next week.

Everyone will stop moaning if Groves does get the shot and wins.........Anderson will be Groves 1st defence.

Since when has Anderson done anything to deserve a shot at a world title

Anderson's with Matchroom Migs, He'd snap up the chance if offered but i doubt Frank will go down that route. He'll want options in case Kenny smashes Groves to pieces like he wanted to on Friday.

I don't see why you don't like the Mitchell fight. It will sell out any arena in London/Scotland...probably do a stadium. Once Ricky or Kevin wins then they can look at big fights.

You need to become a star in your own country before you become one in the US. Despite what some may feel, Ricky Burns is not a star right now.

There is really no reason for any US based fighter to face Ricky Burns. What does he bring to the table other than his belt which theres 4 off.

Rios vs Antonio DiMarco, Miguel Vazquez, Yuriorkis Gamboa are all bigger fights.

At least you're honest about it.

You have a point, but the sentiment stands for me.

He has gone after a harder fight.

I think this stinks of Frank rubing Degales nose in it. Getting Groves a winnable World Title shot.

Rob, I can't help but read your posts and think you'd have a totally different view point if this was Gavin Rees, or Mitchell was Scottish.

    Beaten the Euro Champion
    Current British & Commonwealth Champion
Yes it is premature but he has done more than Anderson (whom I feel sorry for)

Because I am sick and ******* tired of so called World Champions fighting domestic class fighters. Mitchell ain't a bad opponent as he beat the European champion by Ko in Murray but for me Burns has spent too much time fighting opponents inferior to him. I want to see Burns tested and prove he is World class. Beating Mitchell won't prove that!

Fwank has been more outspoken than most about the BBC not showing boxing but what does this do to help the cause. I don't know of any other sport where an event can just disappear a few days ahead of schedule under circumstances like this. Why not have another opponent ready to fill in - perhaps from the undercard. I also can't help wondering how much compensation to the venue, etc gets paid out and at the end of the day who'll eventually foot the bill for that.

:deal The brit forum tends to under-rate brit fighters.
