I think Ward is the better boxer but I see Groves KO'ing him

You only have to look at both their fights against Frotch

if groves catches ward??? let's be clear...froch blocks punches with his face. always has...always will. andre ward is p4p #2 because he has superb defense. groves won't be able to land on ward the way he was able to on froch.

Anything Froch can do, Ward can do better. Ward can do anything better than Froch.

i've always said that Groves would spark Ward. Froch was the much tougher fight for him but he did great.

Ward has never fought anyone like Groves yet. skill, speed and power. George will beat him if Ward agrees to fight him and he doesn't lose the rematch against Froch.

    i'm telling you.

if Ward tries to get in close like he does, Groves isn't going to give a **** about the feathers that Ward has. Groves didn't care about trading with Froch, he sure isn't going to against Ward either.

i hope this fight comes off because it will be beautiful to see Ward out cold.

    well i'm shocked
you do realize that you will never be taken seriously on a boxing forum until you stop this ' blinkered british, us versus them' mentality, don't you?

Groves will be a world champ (Steglitz or Bika comfortable W's) - and the next big cross over in UK boxing - i'm sure.

Ive followed him for years - he has improved so much over the last 5 or so fights - mainly the one punch power (smith , Sierra , Froch). With his other attributes ( Head movement/ speed etc) he is going to be one hell of a fighter.

But lets not get carried away! Ward is class - 2nd only to Floyd. maybe 2 years down the line - we could be talking a mega match up.

I think Ward schools him as the fight goes on, but Groves would be in it every second and get a HUGE hype train rocking.
