That was people's biggest complaint. Especially against so so opponents. He would just cruise to a boring low output fight that bore people to death. Every promotor distance from him cause they could not sell his fights. He is trying to build himself as a finisher now that he is in the twilight of his career. Those last three opponents he is padding his KO with are just horrible. At 44 he needs to just stay retired. No one is going to fight him. There is no money in fighting Rigo.
I think Rigo's hoping that padding up his record by KOing low tier fighters would get him a fight with Inoue but it doesn't work that way. Inoue isn't going to give him that luxury knowing full well it won't sell nor would he get any credit for beating a 45 year old washed up old man. Inoue's already on his way to move up to Featherweight as well.
yeah 100%. Impressive performance just using skills. I was surprised how easy it was for Loma, it was a walk in the park. Rigo was completely out of his depth but he should have gone out like a man instead of quitting like a *****.
He didnt pretend. He posted a pic on twitter post fight. The hand was damaged. Weather or not that was reason enough to quit is under discussion but his hand was definetely badly swollen.
