I'm not one to cry robbery very often, but this is up there with Gomez/Lockridge, Everett/Escalera and Lewis/Holyfield I. Terrible, terrible decision.
I watched this fight with a buddy of mine who's a casual fan and we were both stunned by this unexplainable decision. Not the way that I envisioned sharing a night of boxing with my friend who is somewhat on the fence on how he feels about this sport. Luckily, Bute made up for it by putting on a fantastic performance that rendered the overall card a successful night of boxing in my friend's eyes.
Lewis Holyfield was a joke they all should of been taken out back and shott i do think this fight might of been worse!
It's impossible for any fan of the sport to be happy with that decision. Even if you're a Guzman fan, it can't be ignored that it's worse for the sport that these kind of things happen. I feel terrible for Ali.
boxing has as much credibilty as pro wrestling.... im not sure why they cant have judges that for example IBF paid, so when they travel for big fights, they dont have these lame duck no names with no idea how to judge a fight...they are used to judging 6 round crapfests..... what would happen if they used local referees to judge NFL games? boxing is a joke , this stuff happens more often than not

The only local judge actually had it 116-112 for Funeka... Get your facts straight and don't start any false bull**** !
