JMM vs Guzman is the fight at 130. I love JMM and think he beat PAC both times (114-111 the first and 114-113 the second) but I think Guzman would win. Guzman would embarrass PAC because his chin is rock solid and he is slick as hell.

wait and see the atmosphere at the guzman arthur fight, i have been to a arthur fight at meadowbank in edinburgh and for a small venue, it was the best atmosphere at a fight ive been at and ive been to a lot. the fans are very very hostile, and they are on top of the fighters.

Guzman's career somehow reflects that of JMM. He is a very good boxer but somehow he can't get to the big league in terms of payday. At least JMM is already there but after a lot of years wasted. Guzman might need to fight JMM so that he will be noticed as well. He needs some big fights with him or at least some fan friendly finishes (aka KO's) to reach the El Dorado.

Great chin, great defense. I don't see anyone stopping him.

While I agree he's got a very good chin, his power at 130 is not even decent as somebody mentioned above. In addition at 130, he is an extremely boring fighter to watch. The fight against Soto was a total "torture"

Don't see how you can say it is under rated. I don't think I have ever seen anyone say that he does not have a good chin

i know, i just mean that no one really talks about how good of a chin he has. so 'under-appreciated' may be a better word then

Joan Guzman has a great chin.

As per most underrated fighter alive? I'm not sure I'd agree to that.

    At his weight class maybe.

I'd say that Clinton Woods is pretty underrated by the non-euros around here.

I think Guzman gets a late TKO. If he stays at 130, this is a good fight for Marquez to take to recoup his career and prove to the media that he is the man at 130. If not, I hope Guzman goes up to 135 and chase everyone else because a Marquez fight is the only one that would pique interest in the US.

What amazed me about Guzman is he walked into the ring against Soto at 148 pounds compared to Soto's 135. Soto is a badass and Guzman was quite the runner for the last 3 rounds after putting the fight in the bag and Soto should have gotten more credit.

Yeah and alot of people on this site thought Juan Diaz (80%) would embarrass Nate Campbell too.

Stupid comment. Guzman is the most overhyped most talked about guy on this friggin site yet whats he really done.

He looked good against Barrios and Soto thats it. He looked shocking against Joe Morales.

I cant wait to see all these people cry when he finally steps up to the plate.

Hell he pulled out against Katsidis why cause he was chicken ****.
There was stories going around that he had hurt his hand and couldnt fight but no one ever seen pictures of this so called broken hand wrapped up in plaster.

and instead of re schedule against Katsidis he runs.

Its all Hype. and what what has he done and he's already 32. Beat 2 men of any real note.

Guzman just like Arce good against other good fighters but if he ever faces a great fighter you watch him run and then lose.

    F-ING HYPE.

Im sick of hearing about how Great this guy is.

**** soon we will be comparing him to Duran.
