I just don't see it. I think Guzman is doomed. Katsidis looked brilliant in his last fight. Guzman is looking at another loss, but, this time for real. His glory days are over.
I'll pick Guzman. Katsidis doesn't have Funeka's freakish physical advantages or jab. Although he's tried to be a little more tactical, he can't beat Joan at that game. I think he has enough to win a decision. Good fight.
FINALLY!!!! Longtime posters will remember that this never materializing back when it was supposed to was one of my biggest pet peeves with boxing in recent years. This will such a good styles match-up. :happy It's just unfortunate that such sad circumstances had to allow for it.
I agree with the "better late than never" posts I've seen. I was pumped for this fight back when it was supposed to happen. You actually saw footage of Guzman on Oscar-Floyd 24/7 with Floyd, Sr. when they first began training, because he was training Joan for that fight. I like Guzman being with Lee Beard right now, apparently their initial training sessions were "off the charts" as far as chemistry, so I like it.
being hurt by paulie wich even suprised paulie has made people ? juan but i to belive he has no buisness at jw an even at early stages of career belived his body looked like could even make 130 were no one would touch him
yeah but funeka is super tall lightweight whose legth give anyone problems gave cambell all he wanted an took out zahir raheem on other hand katsids warrior who will go out on shield see casamayor fight whose style suited for higly skilled guzman
