I just don't see it. I think Guzman is doomed. Katsidis looked brilliant in his last fight. Guzman is looking at another loss, but, this time for real. His glory days are over.

I'll pick Guzman. Katsidis doesn't have Funeka's freakish physical advantages or jab. Although he's tried to be a little more tactical, he can't beat Joan at that game. I think he has enough to win a decision.

    Good fight.

    FINALLY!!!! :ibutt

Longtime posters will remember that this never materializing back when it was supposed to was one of my biggest pet peeves with boxing in recent years.

This will such a good styles match-up. :happy

It's just unfortunate that such sad circumstances had to allow for it.

I don't care how much Guzman has slipped, he is not losing to Katsidis.

I agree with the "better late than never" posts I've seen. I was pumped for this fight back when it was supposed to happen. You actually saw footage of Guzman on Oscar-Floyd 24/7 with Floyd, Sr. when they first began training, because he was training Joan for that fight.

I like Guzman being with Lee Beard right now, apparently their initial training sessions were "off the charts" as far as chemistry, so I like it.
