    Genuine question.
Would he be the favourite going into the AA bout?

Depends, if it had been a different fight where he deserved the decision then yes.

If he was given the decision in the fight that Kessler clearly won, then no

IMO, he should be favourite in the AA fight anyway though

Like Freak said, Kessler clearly won the fight. If froch would have got given the decision then I would have done little to shift the boxing odds. But if Foch had clearly won the fight then yes he would hve been massive favourite.

I also agree that he should be favourite against AA anyway as he has done very little at SMW.

Can't wait for this 1, hope it's as good as last nights boxing :patsch

Is Arthur the favourite? If so, that's daft: Froch has beaten better opposition and is a natural 168lb-er. Arthur's only calling cards at SMW are Miranda and Taylor.

Froch lost to Kessler a very close fight same as he lost to Dirrell

Kessler did win the fight by a couple. Froch had a bad night. And he never listened to his trainer all night.

Abraham should not be favourite regardless. Two fights at 168 - one loss, one defeat. His only victory against a shot Taylor. Froch doesn't have to go and slug it out tonight and McCracken will tell him this but he won't listen such is his instincts.

    If I was a bookie I'd make Froch 4/5 and Abraham 11/8.

If Froch had won a robbery against Kessler would he be favourite. Brilliant, thought provoking question.

Yes it probably should be had Froch won the fight(he did not, decision was good).
Had he beaten Kess he would have gone into this as favourite for sure.Really there is an argument for him being favourite despite the loss to Mikkel.Abraham looked awful against Dirrel for pretty much the whole fight. He was in with a chance of catching a tired Dirrel late but even at that stage the rounds were close then he got thrown out.Froch just got out worked by a proven world class act.He gave a very good show but fell just short.AA was getting trounced by a guy who`s only real claim to anything was getting beat by Froch.
Im still picking AA for tonight,my German friends have me convinced the Dirrel fight was an off night.
