Floyd was actually offered career high paydays (At the time) to face Margarito. Instead of facing the longest title holder at WW at the time, Floyd went to face Baldomir for a dollar more. The WORST WW champion ever in the history of the WW division...that's who Floyd decided on.
Cotto has NEVER beaten Margarito.. They made sure his eye was permanently damaged & only then wanted a rematch. Remember them making him fly across country, right in the middle of training,to NY so the doc could examine his eye LOL. Plus Tony was blind in that eye from round 2 & the doc knew it but did he quit??????? No!! Old Kneequel is the quitter. It was'nt till Tony started to come on & was beating his chest at Cotto & Kneequel was fading fast that he stopped the fight. To save Cotto NOT Tony he saw Kneequel was set to quit AGAIN!!!! Mosely , a PROVEN juicer was juiced to the gills for that fight & you know it . Nothing was ever proven against Tony.!!! I agree Mayweather had incredible God Given boxing talent & could have succeeded on his own & he had received a set of cojones to match that talent. A clinic isn't a hard fight for pbf. You need skills to give pbf a hard fight margo doesnt possess that.
