    Really beautiful video. Hagler was so damn adaptable. The way he used his uppercuts and right hooks to do damage here. Gorgeous performance from the 160 GOAT.

    Roldan was such a tough boxer too, surely one of the best boxers in history without a world title.

    Roldan was winning that fight until Hagler thumbed him in the eye. If you watch that sequence, Roldan dips and Hagler throws a right uppercut with a vertical glove and his eye immediately starts to close. One of those tricks Hagler learned fighting the Philly guys. I think that Sugar Ray Seales also said that Hagler was very liberal with his thumbs.

    Hagler had gears, and I'm not sure we ever truly ascertained how many he could step up through.
