HandSpeed: Calzaghe VS Jones

Calzaghe does not have FRAGILE HANDS. He has an unorthodox punching technique that will **** your hands up. Calzaghe only throws arm punches with speed. Roy can throw a PROPER bunch with speed so can many other boxers. This dude slaps side armed with the inside of the glove landing. NO contest, no debate.

 

Jones by a comfortable margin. Calzaghe is no slouch though.

Joe Calzaghe has lightining hand speed, possibly the fastest in boxing today. But Jones of yesteryear was even faster again.

even though he's past his prime, jones now is faster than calzaghe ever was. a prime jones had some of the fastest hands EVER in boxing. calzaghe has good handspeed, but for the ones who said he's almost as fast as jones....you guys are smoking some good ****.:rasta

 

Exactly, Jones punches faster then JC but at FULL power, not arm punches.

 

JOnes has some of fastest hands ever so I would say definately not. Don't get me wrong calzaghe does have speed, just not lightening fast speed.

 

I would guess about 30 mph slower!...............thats not shameful though.....................as Roy has super human speed. RJ could probably land a few hooks before JC could slap him once in their respective primes.....

 

Jones handspeed is not only faster, but he threw hard punches that could knock out anyone.
