This all boils down to Bob Arum being afraid that Rigo is gonna destroy another one of his rising starts like he did to Donaire! Donaire was coming off 4 KO win streak and after Rigo beat his a$$ he hasn't been the same! All this "I don't need him" is simply what Bob Arum is putting in Lomachenkos head so that he doesn't push TopRank to get him a fight that could potentially ruin his career!

When a fighter says "I don't need him" it means its too risky of a fight to take. The fans will need to start demanding the fight and the media will have to start asking the tough questions.

The revisionism is off the charts. The irony is the size difference between Haney and Loma even just to the naked eye is a lot more than it was between Loma and Rigo and the later even had a 2'' longer reach than Loma whereas Haney has a near 6'' one over Loma.

The size difference between them in terms of ring weight is about the same or even more than it is between GGG and Haney but you won't hear a single peep about size from so many regarding this fight. Loma is routinely outweighed by close to 2 or even 3 divisions sometimes and routinely giving away large/huge amounts of reach but not a single peep about size and nor was there regarding his two losses when the size difference was the same or even more than it was between him and Rigo

The only time we've ever heard a peep about size when it comes to Loma from these people is when he fought Rigo. Tell a lie, they even tried to discredit Loma's win against Marriaga because, like Loma he's come up from 126, and he would've weighed at worst a pound or two less if any less at all
