Haha amen 2 that bruv! Cant imagine wen dels career ends you'll get 2 many thanks and good luck messages. He's gifted but a gifted ***** nevertheless. Danny, it aint cool and a bit ghaaay but ur warrior spirit+achievements done us proud. Cheers brixton bomber
Danny Williams has given me some epic fights, and has definitely turned my boxing world on its head a couple of times. He is a fighter that I will definitely remember fondly. Good luck for the future Danny.
Let's not remember Danny for tonight, but for the classic moments he has given us over the years :good [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY1jzjTjIhY[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozA65ZmFJbE&feature=related[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGepVBcHTOQ[/ame]
Mike Tyson took some bombs there...!!!! I actually wanted Mike Tyson to win that fight. It was a horrible night, because i was a big fan of both guys........ I knew coming into that fight, that Danny Williams had all the tools to beat this version of Mike Tyson. Brings back memories of my days on TysonTalk..!!!
It's a shame that a guy who has shown alot of heart during his fighting career went down without a wimper tonight. He just wanted a quick last payday before he called it quits.
Yeah all the best to Danny, hes served the sport well and deserves to enjoy his retirement without having to do a days work again. And well done to delboy chisora for a clinical performance tonight,i expect big things from him in the future,he'll be a handfull for anyone IMO
Everything goes full circle in boxing, one day Del Boy might meet the same ending............. Its Sad, but beautiful at the same time.
He may do but I just think Williams should have called it quits before the fight. Go out as British champion, rather than going in there for a small payday and being stopped so easily.
All the best brother dawood (danny) U are a true warrior, a religious family man and a serious British legend! Hope you smack it in the b. guard business. Peace out.
just about to type something like this. i think he disgraced himself, dident even want to be there,i was embarressed for him. he may of given us some decent nights, but i would of been pissed off if id paid to see that. i honestly thought a boxer would go down fighting:huh should of given it his best shot, not wasted warrens money, oh no,hang on,well done danny, you just ripped frank warren off, well done:thumbsup
I hope this time he doesnt reneg on his word. Dannys disappointed me throughout his career. I always thought he may go places prior to his first defeat by Julius Francis. But it was then it became apparent to me that he was sooo mentally fragile that his talent wouldnt be able to carry over and in the end he became a disinterested punching bag. Dam shame.
Well, I can't disagree with any of that, Scurla. Happy retirement, Danny. It should've happened years ago, but hopefully it's for good now. No need for him to be taking any more punches now. Get that Mr. Kipling ad sorted!
