Danny Williams has given me some epic fights, and has definitely turned my boxing world on its head a couple of times.

He is a fighter that I will definitely remember fondly.

Good luck for the future Danny.

Mike Tyson took some bombs there...!!!!

I actually wanted Mike Tyson to win that fight. It was a horrible night, because i was a big fan of both guys........

I knew coming into that fight, that Danny Williams had all the tools to beat this version of Mike Tyson.

Brings back memories of my days on TysonTalk..!!!

It's a shame that a guy who has shown alot of heart during his fighting career went down without a wimper tonight. He just wanted a quick last payday before he called it quits.

Everything goes full circle in boxing, one day Del Boy might meet the same ending.............

Its Sad, but beautiful at the same time.

He may do but I just think Williams should have called it quits before the fight. Go out as British champion, rather than going in there for a small payday and being stopped so easily.

I hope this time he doesnt reneg on his word. Dannys disappointed me throughout his career. I always thought he may go places prior to his first defeat by Julius Francis. But it was then it became apparent to me that he was sooo mentally fragile that his talent wouldnt be able to carry over and in the end he became a disinterested punching bag. Dam shame.

Well, I can't disagree with any of that, Scurla.

    Happy retirement, Danny.

It should've happened years ago, but hopefully it's for good now. No need for him to be taking any more punches now. Get that Mr. Kipling ad sorted!
