Exactly. When someone KO's 245 lbs HW with one uppercut cold for 5 minutes, it means he has real power in his hands. Briedis hasn't KO'd Huck only because Huck fought very dirty. Both Klitschkos who sparred with Briedis many times said he hits pretty hard.
It may be that Briedis is a counterpuncher whereas putting Gassiev on the backfoot was his gameplan to beat him.
That squares, logically - but I also think Gassiev with Sánchez mopping his brow during the stool breaks does comparatively better in the Abdoul contest than he did sans El Mustachio. Better than Briedis did? Not sure, but probably at least as good. (I don't think anybody can stop Abdoul unless they're loading plaster in their wraps tbh)
Gassiev probably has more brute force. But Briedis has some sharpness that Gassiev lacks. Overall Gassiev. But Briedis is not slouch in that category and definitely the sharper puncher.
