I was at the fight, thought it was gonna be a first round blow out, but the guy back peddled all night after that! Difficult to stop a guy who is running away.

Nobody on TV seems to mention that Scott is 35 years old,a lot for a lighter weight fighter, yet they talk of world title shots in the future.Simpson was mentioned as an opponent, and on last nights showings IMO that was more than a tad premature.Dont blame Scott for coming back, but think hes looking at British,European at the most.

I think the change of opponent did affect Scott Harrison as a named opponent would mean a weight in on the Friday and a light weight instead of welter . now I still think it was a good night for the Harrison camp as that is another six rounds under there belt . would like to see Scott box Gavin Rees for the Brittish title and then maybe a shot at a world title fight

Rees would **** this version of Harrison.
Scotty is done at the highest level, he was boxing an 8 fight novice and he was in trouble at times.
35 is too old at lightweight especially after problems with the booze.

    Jumping the gun a bit.
It was his 7-12 rounds in 7 years, and he was never in trouble.
That said, his timing was off, and his judgement of distance was too.
He needs to get another 20-25 rounds of ringtime, quickly, and then judge him.
The most surprising thing for me, was that is his first fight back, Harrison looked like a tank. He wasnt nearly as ripped last night. Does make me question his dedication.
BUT, if you put someone in with Scott, who he knows is a serious challenge, I think it would light his fire.
That guy last night didnt come to win, he came to survive, kept his engaging of Scott to an absolute minimum, and then threw wild swings. I dont think any of the countrys lightweights would look good against that guy fighting like that.
He could definitely in a few fights time be a match for Rees, Mitchell, Murray.

The reason he was not like a tank was the fact he was told he was fighting a light welterweight and weighing in on the day and that told on the day as his sharpness was not there but like most who watched the fight he was well in control and looked to box the six round but his opponent looked to run and not get knocked out. now Rees would be a good bout at lightweight as both are fighters and known to be strong and also both are about 5feet odds so in my opinion would be a good bout as they would both fancy wining the fight and I would think it would be a crowd pleaser aswell

a 7 fight man should not upset anyones plans,a man of scot harrisons pedigree should not have to watch fights of 7 fight men before he steps in the ring with him,if he had ANYTHING left he should be blowing men like this away.
I know it upsets the scots but harrison is finished at top level,he would be a good name on a up and coming fighters record though.
Rees would muller harrison inside the 1st 5 rounds.
On another note burns would muller rees inside 5 rounds
