    Oh newbs.

I enjoy the fact that you just showed up here, and try to talk to someone like me, implying I don't know what the **** I'm talking about here.

Obviously you didn't take the time to read any of my other posts, or try to understand why I said, what I said.

Thank you for your in depth debating ability, which will make you a poster worth talking to, in your future (or lack there of) on ESB.

Yorgey was built up to eventually fight for a decent payday. One must presume he received one with Angulo. To think he can ever compete with the elite of this weight division is being dishonest to Yorgey and the fans.
He just isn't a A class fighter. The sooner you recognise this the better for Yorgey.

He wasn't really built up for anything. I don't think many people expected him to beat Ronald Hearns even, and LeHoullier was the guy being touted more when the two of them fought.

Good luck to Harry Joe. I'm in the camp that doesn't think he's a world class fighter (granted, only having seen three of his fights) and is more of a good domestic guy, but if K-9 can win a title, then he might be able to as well.

All of this talk about how he should call it quits seems silly to me. If everyone retired once it became apparent they wouldn't be one of the best in the world, then there'd be nobody to fight. And if everyone retired after one brutal pounding (after taking very little damage before then, as far as I can tell), then that would probably wipe out the few guys who are left.

The difference here is that my only goal is to tell facts about Harry Yorgey, not to get into a pissing match over obvious differences in opinion on his ability with someone who I do not know nor do I care to learn more about. Keep firing away though because the more you write about him the happier I get. Continued success in your blogging career.....:bbb

Eventhough you are not a fan of Harry's I respect what you wrote here since it was filled with logic. The great thing about boxing and sports in general is that as fans, we can disect and analyze the heck out of our team or a person - but in the end none of it means a lick. When a 6 seed makes it all the way to win the Super Bowl....or a relative unknown wins a world title - it really is hard to predict. Thank you for keeping it real.

if a guy is hungry let him fight. till he doesn't want anymore. people saying guys should retire after a bad loss is very typical. and being to quick to judge theres a lot to improve on.

but that being said the way angulo disposed of him was really devastating. and to me showed his lack of real defensive mastery. i think he is a top 30 fighter in what division he choses. but he would most probably just be bulldozed, but his stock has risen with the hearns sturm match up. so he might be in demand.

Well stated. However, your exposure to his fight history is more than likely limited at best to what is available online. All we ask is that those who feel he is in over his head - give the man a chance to prove you wrong. Render judgement on the whole body of work rather than one, very devastating loss. The best is yet to come.

I've seen Yorgey fight in person at least a dozen times in and around Philly and always puts on a good fight. A really nice guy as well. I've even seen him fight threw a dislocated jaw i believe, and still won and fought thru it.

I do admit I wasn't sure his chances on stepping up the competition but he had continued to improve, i was wondering why he hasn't fought since the Angulo match and he has nothing to be ashamed of, same fate took another fun philly fighter rosado just before. Yorgey just didn't have the power to keep him off.

looking forward to seeing him back in action. i thought i read on boxrec they listed him on the cunningham germany card saturday.

So pretty much, you expect to post things & thoughts about Yorgey, on a boxing forum, where people debate(or what you'd call a pissing match) everything about boxing 24/7, and expect no one to post thoughts that contradict yours?

Or if people do post thoughts contradictory to yours, youre automatically gonna go into sarcastic mode?

Be more open minded if your going to post here, you'll find you can get alot more interesting insight from some very boxing knowledgeable people here that way.

Many reasons why he hasn't fought since the Angulo loss, but mostly due to an ankle injury. He is back and better than ever and is fighting on the ESPN undercard on 2/25 in Tulsa, OK. We were in negotiations to fight Dominik Britsch in Germany, but we came to an impasse.

Here's the deal JGrizzle - I am cool with your opinion and your assessments of Harry's boxing - I honestly could care less about the content of what you are writing. I am not a blogger, a forum junkie or a on-line writer. I am just the manager of a great fighter who has been out of the game for a while. Trying to get his name back out there and thanks to all of you folks - I can entertain these types of "debates". Of all the people on here, I think I have the inside scoop into what Harry Joe is really capable of in the ring.
I have read a lot of your old posts (at your behest) and let's call a spade a spade - you live in a sarcastic mode in most of your posts. Just sayin'.

A spade is a spade then.

And I never meant I thought Yorgey is garbage or anything, he deff has potential. And if his ankle was the reason for some bad performances, hopefully it has healed well, and will not bother him anymore.

Btw Is Yorgey's fight on espn going to be a televised undercard?

His fight will not be on TV unless something happens to one of the co-main fights. We are fighting again in May as a main event on ESPN but we do not have a date/location yet. Truce is in effect - cool.

Nice, so Yorgey is looking to stay busy then? If so, I think that will only be of benifit, and hopefully move your team to something bigger alot faster.

Haha, and yea, the truce is in effect . I'm not really a hard guy to get along with on here, as long as I know someone isn't talking out of their ass, you know?
