Also forgot to mention Joshua's vastly improved left hook - a new great weapon of choice added to his ever expanding arsenal.

Meanwhile in Alabama: Some half human half hybrid inbreed's prouder than ever over the windmill invention of his - now comes packed with pre-ordered body bags included in the deal.

Thats the problem, Parker did not have a reputation as being a "slippery, hard to hit fighter." Parker had fatboy Andy Ruiz Jr and Takam Teeing off on him. I guarantee you Parker talked to Tyson Fury and took his advise how to fight Joshua and tweaked his style.

I am not sure AJ can beat Hughie Fury any more let alone Tyson Fury. AJ is absolutely lost when the opponent is moving and jabbing on the outside. He don't handle movement well. AJ needs the opponent to stand right in front of him, he is too stiff, lumbering, and robotic.

His stock is rising if you ask me. Its the competition level he's facing, which is making him look a bit overhyped to his critics especially when he's got the reputation for knocking guys out. Hes young and still perfecting his craft, and doing so against really solid competition in his last 2 fights. You can't knock them all out man, cmon now.

I actually think it’s different - Tyson was around at a time when boxing was more of a mainstream sport. It didn’t matter so much.

Hearn has marketed Joshua very well to a sky sports Football/Darts crowd. As a result, he needs highlight reel knockouts otherwise they’ll lose interest. They’re not the type of fans who’ll stick around for scrappy points victories. Joshua hasn’t got the personality to keep them interested.

After those 12 rounds I’m wondering when his balls are gonna drop.

For Joshua's high standards it has. Still only 21 fights though. I think people were disappointed that the 100% knockout ratio is gone. I think most people didn't expect Parker to be the one to go the full distance. I'm a little shocked, he was in very good shape, unlike the Takam fight.

Parker was 247lbs against takam, ruiz and Fury, they bulked him up for sone unknown reason and his footwork was plodding as a result and he also gassed at points in those fights.

He was light today and fought a cagey fight.

Joshua was winning the rounds at a canter and happy to unify another world title without taking totally unnecessary risks just to ko the guy

    This.

The guy has had 22 fights ffs, he's still developing.

At this stage Wilder was still fighting guys like Kelvin Price "honing his craft" and Fury was getting dropped on his ass by steve cunningham.

Joshua is honing his craft against klitschko and parker.

Is he unbeatable, no but hes pretty damn good if we are being real

Forget the hype and be objective.

There is some Joshua haters around here, for me it was a top performance by both fighters, where the hell did joshua look robotic? His defence was excellent all night, he dodges 90% of the punches and was quick to move back to avoid big shots... good post man finally someone using their brain unlike people hating on joshua because he didnt win all 12 rounds vs a top top heavyweight

I cant see how it would have dropped at all.
He just beat an undefeated HW champ very clearly without really having to go all out.
Parker seemed very wary of coming forward and being hit
21 fights and wins over 2 undefeated HW champs in Parker and Martin as well as undefeated Brezeale, undefeated Whyte, W Klitschko
    WBA IBF WBO champ

AJ is extremely stiff and robotic - you'd have to be Ray Charles not to see that. It works for him and has got him this far so it's not a major criticism, it's more a technical and aesthetic comment. He never flows or looks fluid, but again that's because he's not that type of fighter nor will he ever be.

Well, depends what you thought of him before, and what you thought of Parker.

For me his stock's risen, in that he's shown new facets to his game every time out and now has unarguably the strongest resume in the division. He's proven he can fight back from adversity, adapt to adverse situations, and go the full twelve against the best in the world.

His aura of invincibility has been well and truly deflated though. He's shown he's not just going to walk through everyone he faces, and that he does have vulnerabilities that can be exploited. For those who put him on a godlike pedestal that's a hard position to justify anymore, especially considering a lot of those people gave Joe no chance at all.
