Dude has fought twice in 4 years. Is he done? Was he done after beating Joshua? He had real talent. Guess we'll never get to see it harnessed.

The way the current HW division is backed up makes this logical. Nobody can get fights. I don't think Andy Ruiz is at fault here. No one wants to take tough fights if there isn't hardware on the line.

This whole generation had their prime wasted if we're being honest.

I think after winning the title and earning all that Money, grinding out training and going through the pain of making fights and many falling through, he maybe thought f it.

At his best I saw potential for some mega fights

I'm sorry, are you trying to say 'retried?'

Ruiz and the word grinding out training should never be used in the same sentence. Guy found a one hit wonder in beating Joshua. Now thinks he can just show up and that punch will land again. He has shown up to each fight since, in terrible shape. Where he is gassing and fights in spurt to preserve energy. He also prices himself very high for every fight.

Or "refried". Has Andy Ruiz refried the beans for his third breakfast of the day? Yes, probably.

Ruiz is this generation's Buster Douglas, in more ways than one. Stick a fork in him....

No. Ruiz just fights once in 2 years, earns money and enjoys his hobbies. So he has to work like 3 months of 48 (or maybe less, depends how long his training camps last), and rest and enjoy the life for the rest of 45 months.
