Has any boxer ever gone from feather fisted to powerful as Fury has?

Prior until very recently Fury was never known for his KO power and was seen as somewhat feather fisted for HW standards at least.

There is no question now that Fury does have power in his fists. This is a very impressive transformation, any other boxers who've done this?

I wonder if a bag of goose feathers could shatter a thin plate glass window? Hmmm. Lol.

Fury was never actually feather fisted, he just used a very passive, jab and move, slick boxer style and never sat down on his punches. If he had gone for the knockout in every fight, he probably could have KO’d every man he ever fought. (The exception to that may be Otto Wallin who seems to have a very solid chin.)

This. Povetkin suddenly became Mike Tyson after the Wlad fight.

Thomas Hearns was feather fisted in the amateurs. Then Steward turned him into "The Hitman" as a pro. That Kronk style worked well for their frames.

Feather fisted? One punch KO on Cunningham who nobody else has ever stopped. Stopped Chisora who has heart there was a reason he stayed on his stool. Remember earlier in his career put over a few solid chined opponents.

The myth that he's feather fisted came about because he didn't stop Pianeta and took a few to stop Seferi this was because he wanted rounds under his belt some people can't fathom that.

He’s never been feather fisted, but he’s not a powerful puncher either. He hit Whyte with a shot he didn’t see coming.

Fury is a big man with good hand speed. When you get hit by a man like that, it’s going to hurt.

People believe any heavyweight is feather fisted? There’s so many variables with power ffs. If your gassed you are getting ktfo perfect example Whyte this evening.
