Has any heavyweight besides AJ achieved so much in only 19 fights?

Anthony Joshua is a KO waiting to happen, bank on it.

As far as Tyson or Holyfield, they did not have to get off the deck to beat old timers Holmes and Foreman........as far as power.....Larry Holmes was NEVER stopped by ANYONE even when a 100 years old except by Mike Tyson who had him see stars for the 15 count...........insert Tyson instead of AJ and WK gets ko'ed cold in less than five, no ifs or buts..............top shelf fighters dont go life and death with washed up 41 year olds...........fact not fiction........Tyson would have Bruno'ed AJ last weekend, no doubt.

 

This junior has been in actual sanctioned fights ,some sparring matches with champions back in the day and i spar guys who have been clean knocked out by wilder...judging by what you post youve never stepped foot in one.......JUNIOR.

AJ won his first title in his 16th fight and started boxing at the age of 18, i think this is at least equally
impressive.

He has had a great start to his career, 2 points though.

1. Don't mention Charles Martin when trying to justify someone's legacy.
2. He didn't outclass Wlad. However you had it scored (I had Wlad 1 point up) it was a close fight that could have went either way - a great learning fight and victory.

NO ONE of ACTUAL boxing knowledge who fought is going to think AGE matters more because you LEARN in the RING with ACTUAL fights ,not because you have a birthday coming up..you imbecile....BUSTED! lmao

 

Why don't you start a thread with a poll asking which is more impressive, Tyson winning a championship at 20 or Joshua winning a title in his 19th fight if you are so sure of your position? You won't because your fragile ego couldn't handle being proven wrong.

 

On a side note, as a whole we can say that Super Heavyweights over the , lets say 15 -17 years or so have mediocre chins (Lewis, WK, Grant, Fury, Wilder AJ), relative poor stamina in a action fight amd most of them look clumsy/uncoordinated definitely not fluid, WK is NOT a natural fighter, Athlete yes but not blessed with god given boxing talents. Only exception is VK who had a good chin and decent stamina despite fighting with his mouth wide open but nevertheless in his signature fight he was carved up worse than a Thanksgiving dinner by a aging champ....hsi skin aint holding up against nasty punchers.

Back to WK, youtube WK surfboard paddling and shot beyond shot Briggs boat waked him off his board and he did not do shid.......Briggs would have never dared to do that to Foreman, Tyson or even VK....he would have ended up looking like Mitch Green.

I rate Joshua highly and think he showed real grit and testiculer fortitude in his performance on Saturday but, he's got a long, long way to go before achieving an historical level of greatness. I still have doubts about how his chin will cope with bombs from the like of Wilder or Ortiz and trust me when I say that my opinion of Windy Miller is less than flattering but, there's no denying that he and Ortiz can crack and are a good deal nearer their prime than Wlad. WK put on his bravest,most determined performance in a decade but, let's be honest, he was far from his absolute best with his timing early on leaving a lot to be desired. Joshua has all the tools and physical attributes to have a stellar career but, like I say that's potential as oppose to reality so, it's a bit to early to be riding his **** just yet.

 

He has very bad stamina. Riddick Bowe had good stamina for a big guy. Ike ibeabuchi had incredible stamina despite weighing 235-245 of pure muscle. Old Foreman had good stamina.
Solid Chin? When was Mike Tyson dropped with a single shot to the head without being outclassed and taking severe punishment beforehand?

Wlad was coming of a loss, has been KTFO a million times, and has been shot for at least two years now.

While its a very good win for the young Joshua, its like saying John Ruiz deserves full credit for beating Evander Holyfield. Just NO.
