Well I feel a bit sorry for him. His defence was Swiss cheese, a sort of peek-a-boo with too little head movement, you probably couldn't have missed him if you tried It was clear he did not want to be there, you outclassed him, were much faster, much stronger, you easily picked him apart. But he was there and had to take his beating. You gotta love boxing. This makes me nervous for Saturday again, who knows what kind of freak my opponent will be this time Number one was freakishly tall. The second one was very fast, but a rare specie in the amateurs, a pure counter puncher. He did not throw much and did not move much. I was too stupid to adapt and give him something to counter, a feint followed by a counter of my own. Number three was probably a farmer, insanely strong. Thank god he wasn't that accurate. We'll see what number four brings. If you had so many fights as you did, you've seen it all. I'm being tested every time I step in the ring.
Well, I've had 69 fights now, but each time is like one of the first times. There always occurs new things and I always have to prepare myself as it was my first fight. But yeah, it's much easier now and I can now see things I didn't see before. Every move is easier to perform. If you've just trained well you should have the confidence, and everything should be fine. And remember: no matter what style they have, you are going to make them adapt to YOU. Do your thing.
Enjoyed that and your other fights znaak. Got loads of skill and are in great shape...is a pleasure to watch.
Not as much make money its getting funded. They give you money to live off so you can just solely focus on boxing. And not work.
I was hoping the feeling would go away soon but it seems I'm screwed But of course the level of opposition gets tougher as well. You may have 69 (!!!) fights but your opponents aren't beginners either. This guy looked a bit like one though, but once you know you're outclassed looking bad is inevitable. That's very good advice, I hope to take this with me in the ring.
I'd love to spar you znaak. I would be painful, but judging by how you punch you can probably hold back well. It would be a good learning experience. I have good sparring partners though so I can't complain, two at 69 kg and a very talented guy at 75 kg (I'm 64 kg). His biomechanics look somewhat similar to yours. You are much more experienced though.
Good work pal. Looked good. Why that kid kept laying on the ropes with his hands down though? I'll never know.
Yeah, I always try to learn in sparring. I can hold back if I want to. Just get your ass over here then!
