Just work hard and focus this week and you'll be right back on track mate. Let us know how it's going. You'll be boxing at Light Welterweight, right?
I was training intensly before mid-December and felt good, but matches kept falling through. Haven't boxed since last March, and not by my own choice. Now life's realities have caught up in terms of work, and I don't have time to train enough to compete. At least for the moment. Going to the gym once or twice a week though just to spar. And you have to admint, 6ft heavyweights are more fun to watch
Eh, one week isn't too bad. Just suck it up and get back in the gym and you'll feel better. I know this is a tough time for you but I think having this fight and doing this one thing you've been training for for so long will take your mind off things and make you feel pretty good.
I just got an opponent for my fight on Saturday. It's in a city called Drøbak, near Oslo. I'm so psyched right now. The opponent is ranked nr. 3 in 81kgs in Norway, but he has much less experience than me. But I'm taking what I can get. About two months since the last time I was in the ring.
Yay! Good luck. I have a bout scheduled for February 14th. The gal, bless her heart, has lost to me three times already but I'm glad to get the ring time.
I could have a busy schedule I hope; with a fight on the 14th of February, then hopefully on Feb. 28th and March 1st, then again on March 6th and 7th, then some more with the other tournaments coming up. Looking good so far.
Just got home. Won 5-0. I wanted to knock him out real bad, but sadly couldn't do it. He was very strong. He got a beating anyway. In the last round I got him into his own corner, he holds on to me, looks down at his corner and says "How long is it left?!?!" :rofl Hilarious. I just thought WTF? atsch
