Tank will eventually leave Floyd for a better promoter. Floyd will never let one of his fighters shine to bright because it might take attention from him.
A good plan is to ignore everything that comes out of team Davis and team Broker as it can either be classed as false or so dumb that it may actually be dangerous to be exposed to it.
I remember hearing about Tank and Floyd disputing when Tank was still living in Baltimore b/c Floyd wanted him to come live in Vegas and train at TMT. Floyd forced Tank to come to Vegas.
Floyd doesn't want his younger fighter hanging out with Broner and Cunningham, and so tried (well, is trying) to get Tank to dump Cunningham. It doesn't help that Tank took to social media to air things out about how he was set up to fail with the Pedraza fight. Floyd took that as being ungrateful, and that's when he changed his tune about Tank fighting Lomachenko. It's clearly a case of "I'll show you what setting you up to fail looks like". Floyd's a narcissist, but he's not wrong for wanting Tank away from Broner and away from Baltimore IMO. Maybe he's not going about it ideally, but I'd be trying to accomplish the same outcome in his shoes
