Every once in a blue moon I post on a "Wilder" thread and the amount of hate this guys conjures is down right hilarious. I believe fighters sign a silent agreement once they turn pro that allows arm chair warriors to critic, insult and basically spew their own personal insecurities. I get it, I really do....just seems strange when folks are constantly drilling this dude as if you know him personally and he did something unforgivable to you. Anyway carry on just an observation, its not just Wilder its a bunch of other fighters that get slack too....GGG, Ward, Floyd, all arguably great fighters who are bashed to bit by folks with hints of some sort of personality disorder.
I agree with the vast majority of what you wrote. Wilder doesn't deserve to be on that list though. People who hate Ward or Floyd know that they're very good boxers whereas a lot of people genuinely believe Deontay is a total fraud who'll be exposed as soon as he steps up his level of competition. In fairness, he's not doing much to silence them either.
Part of his doctor-prescribed rehab is to tend the fry buffet at Golden Corral. When he isn't doing that he'll be dispensing soft-serve at the dessert counter.
:nono Deonkey must return for one more fight!!! to return the favor to the WBC... whom gave him the title on a Silver Platter... allowing his best friend to take a dive... Malik Scott :deal in a WBC Eliminator... and allowed to fight Fry Cooks, Cab Drivers, and Soccer Hooligans as Title Defences... he must now take a dive... against Andy Ruiz Jr. :deal handing the title over to the new generation of Burrito Grande's like the Mexican Based WBC has always wanted it!!! :yep :burger
