You have to give props to guys like glen Johnson, he has fought the best of 2-3 generations of boxers in his era and his different weight classes true master of the sport

ahah, since Bute's fans knew hater would call Johnson shot since the Froch fight, now you just decide to go a little farther back to Cloud.

Good tactics, but it wont work. How come its a good Froch win and the S6 semi finalist and now he is shot for years! Yeah right.

I'm not a Bute hater and I"m definitely not a Froch supporter.

Johnson wasn't a good win for Froch, it just showed how shot Johnson was. Like I said I think the last good showing for Johnson was against Cloud, but even in that fight he was hurt badly, repeteadly, and didn't look like he could compete any longer at the gatekeeper/elite level.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how well Johnson absorbs Bute's counter left uppercut to the body. Bernard Hopkins TKO'd Johnson on accumulation, and though he never hurt Glen to the head, he did hurt him to the body.

Ill even say that from round 4 to 10, Bute will dominate and win every round to finally close the book in round 10.

Hopkins is excellent in the body work department.

I like your prediction, and if it happens like that, we will have a super thrill of a night, with a great card and mega energy!!

    Go Bute Go! :good

  12. Clinton Woods knocked him down. Can't remember which fight it was.

How did he look bad vs Froch though? Froch is one of the top 168 guys in the world and Johnson was giving him a lot of trouble till he slowed down in the end, carl's chin, stamina and willingness helpt him stay up during the fight and win the later rounds which won him the rounds.
I think I had it 116-113 or 115-113, dont remember exactly.
If Bute is able to stop johnson or win easily he deserves some credit imo.

Johnson is a tough SOB but I'll take the risk to predict a Bute KO. I mean, Johnson can take a punch but he'll get caught with something he hasn't seen commin'. Now, I know this wasn't a prediction thread but I wanted to give my take on it.
