yes Magee put him down and had him in big trouble in the 3rd, Mickey Vann saved his ass as the ref.
He was rocked against Phillips and down against Collazo, though the ref didn't gove the KD.

Eammon had Hatton hurt pretty good in several occasions during thier bout. It was a great learning experience for Ricky, he became a noticably sounder fighter after Maghee.. It was a bit like Amir Khan surviving Willie Limonds havoc and Lennox's rough night v McCall but not as servere. It takes adversity to make a fighter escalate and become stronger and box at another level... Hatton hasn't really been hurt as much as that since .. arguably Collazzo had shades of an edge in their fight in several rounds but it made Hatton revert back to his early experiences.. Ricky was not prepared correctly weight wise for Collazzo, he made the higher weight by eating the wrong carbs and no regulation on his fats intake, sluggish a half step lagging, he won't make the same mistake twice. He is a 3 times finer tuned athlete since that fight. In truth it should never have been signed for many reasons..

Caught off balance?! BWA HA HA HA. Have you even seen the fight? Magee hit him with a peach of a right hook and dumped him unceremoniously on his ass.So yeah i guess Magee`s punch sure made him off balance!

Was i the only person that saw this? And pray tell why did Mickey intervene mysteriously when Magee was piling on the pain? Actually more to the point why was Vann referring so many of his dam fights and Magee nearly refused to fight because of this..:think

I still say that Tszyu dropped him fair and square with a body shot in between rounds 6 and 8 (can't remember the exact round) and all the replays show the shot landing right on the belt.

    The ref called it low.

IMO, it should have been ruled a KD against Collazo in the 12th when Ricky was desperately lunging in for the HUG. Collazo hit him and Ricky's head was thru the ropes. Ref ruled it a slip.

A great counter by Magee that , Hatton shouldve been wise to that , it was a bit obvious before the fight that Magee was gna hit him over the top of the left hook with the southpaw right.

Hatton responded in the best way possible though

Yea the shot that Tyszu put him down with wasn't low. And then Hatton came right back and drilled Tyszu in the nuts. There was a real solid ref in that fight.

A good case can be made that Tszyu knocked him down. If it didnt happen an Manchester I dare say it would have been called such.
