I think this gauges Hatton's chin pretty well... If this is the case Pac should be able to drop Hatton.

Hatton's chin got tested pretty well against Kostya Tszyu, who hit ****ing hard. Hatton walked through lots of those vicious right-hand bombs that Tszyu threw, the same right hands that sent Zab Judah to another world.

The shots he took against Mayweather, although he's not a massive puncher, would've put lesser fighters on their arse. Against Collazo exhaustion and weight played more of a role in the last round than chin. Magee wasn't a massive puncher, but he was a very sharp counter-puncher. He used Hatton's early momentum against him, and put him right on his arse for being so careless.

Hatton has a not existant right hand at range, that is the biggest problem he has with southpaws.

The only fighter he has knocked out above 130 was the weakest LW champion I have ever seen in 35 years of watching the sport and all of a sudden the Pinoy punches harder than a decent LWW and WW...how can you possibly judge this? Get real :-(

Hattons chin is so shaky he has been down a grand total of twice in his whole career...how many times has Pacman been down in his against smaller opposition?

    smaller opposition? :huh

and the last time pac went down was about 9 years ago. hatton was down and out as recent as three fights ago. so, what do you prefer, a fighter going down early in his career and not again doing so since then or one who hasn't been down until late into his career. i surely would prefer the former.

35 years eh... i guess we're about the same since i started following boxing around 1974.

you conveniently left out the dlh fight @147. pac did hurt dlh in that fight enough to make him quit and score a TKO. so, @140 pac should be able to much more hurt boxers in this weight class. will he be able to KO them? certainly. diaz was a big lightweight being a former 140-lber.

There's nothing wrong with Hattons chin. Its not granite but neither is it shaky. He's a very agressive fighter who takes risks in order to land punches and sometimes that costs him.
As for how he is against southpaws, I think he's vulnerable to a right hook from that stance.

Take my word for it mate, Kostya was far from explosive during that fight. I watched patiently, waiting for a bomb... he landed a feww good shots, but the strength behind them was far from Tszyu's best. No disrespect to Hatton... KT was far from full strength..

Hopefully, the Pac/Hatton fight will arrive soon.. The arguements are too many already.

I completely disregard the Oscar fight as he was actually fighting a corpse, hardly a decent measure of anything
