Just to confirm again, the Duran fight was a hip injury. While watching it you would clearly think he is injured and couldn't fight properly.
How can you bring form to the ring when your fighting Svalen Tsyuclivacan a czech cleaner with a 34-18 record? No wonder he's bored as ****. Hope you do well Tony you seem to have the right attitude. What do you thnk of the way Warrens matched you so far and how much of a say do you and anthony get in who you fight? I'm not at all fond of Warrens matchmaking, I feel too many fighters like Foster jnr, Mathews, Mitchell, Hall, Smith have the potential to be big regional stars and Warrens obsession with building records on boring undercards robs fighters of their identity in a way.
I feel for Paul cos the Contender should have been his springboard for massive things BUT he was just a bit unlucky!!:-( As for the matchmaking mate, I just think Frank wants the lads to get a good education as most turn pro to early I feel.. As for me personally I've boxed some decent people and 2 unbeaten kids too. Well 1 was unbeaten and the other was 5-1 but the loss was on a cut in a fight he was winning so I classed him as unbeaten. I'll be stepped up soon I feel an now Im fighting 8 rounders you'll really see the best of me hopefully, I've been asking for longer fights and Frank has delivered as he always has for me since day 1.. I just can't wait for September to get back into the ring..:good Hopefully you'll all see the best of me too..
Good luck pal. I'm sure you'll do well. :good I think Frank will always deliver for the fighter at the level you are now operating at. He can get the money to get pretty much anyone you want domestically. What I wonder is what he can do beyond that? What does he want for you? Career wise what would be your ideal career path? Few learning fights, up to British title level then Comm and Euro before world or would you be happy with the Gavin Rees route? Do you want a legacy? Do you value domestic titles? Cheers Tony. :good
