Has John Duddy ever been dropped or hurt in a fight?

Was at the fight and have viewed it many times. Duddy struggled but was in no way hurt at any point at the fight except maybe the last minute. H was almost dropped in round 2, but it never really hurt him. And the boxing commentator is Tommy Gallagher.

 

Miranda showed incredible "chin" in his fight with Pavlik. The result was a one of the most thorough maulings I've ever seen. ( It took him nearly a year to rebuild himself ) Zertuche was known for never having been knocked out. The result was that Pavlik pounded him until he was knocked unconscious while still standing. ( A fight that many felt finished Zertuche as a good fighter )

HAving a good chin is an important aspect for a fighter. But chin alone without the skill to back it up will result in a brutal KO once you come up against the right fighter. ( and Pavlik does tend to be that kind of fighter. )

 

Yes he got drop, I forgot the guys name but it was on a top rank ppv.

 

I agree, Duddy is not ready for Pavlik but he is growing by leaps and bounds year over year.
