cotto wasnt stopped against margarito because of his chin...it was due to the accumulation of punches he took throughout the fight! Margo was potentially using breeze blocks in this fight too!
If im not mistaken..floyd was dropped by judah(however not counted).

If floyd would stop being so defensive and try and finnish a fighter off by taking a few risks then maybe we would find out..

You obviously didn't read the above posts.

    1) Floyd has been hit clean before and his chin held up fine. there's nothing to find out. he has a good chin.

    2) Floyd was off balanc when he got hit by Judah and that's why his glove touched. It had nothing to do with his chin. Floyd is only human. Ali got put down by Wepner, but i dont think anyone believes it cuz he was hurt

    3) You're talking about he should take more risks so people can see what his chin is like??? Thats one of the dumbest ****ing things i've ever heard. You want him to abandon his defensive skills and get hit cleanly just to prove "hey.....look at me, I can take a punch"

    That's stupid.

This is what happens when fighter's take stupid risks in order to prove to dumbass fans that they can take a punch.

When did i say he should do a nate campbell!?
What i meant was he should finnish guys off when he has them in his pocket e.g Marquez in the 6th onwards..He could have finnished it anytime but decided to play it safe and pot shot all night!
Christ the guy was 2 weight classes below him and a counter puncher!

And yes mayweather was definetly dropped by judah so dont give me all this off balance pish..he was hit and dropped. FACT!

    One point...

Corley never dropped Cotto...He hit him with a shot which, like mayweather, cotto didnt see coming. He was hit in the temple behind the ear, which causes anyones equilibrium to go out...he did a chicken dance but held on. He was never dropped by Corley. Ricardo Torres MAYBE, some say Torres dragged him down.

    Thank you.

Corely caught Mayweather with a looping punch ... not a straight punch ... it hurt him noticeably but he recovered fast ... and ended up knocking Corley down several times.

Pacquiao has no chance to hurt Mayweather because he throws straighter punches than Corley does and Floyd trains to defend straight punches.

Floyd can win fights however he wants too. he doesn't need to when by KO everytime when completely outclassing someone. He's a boxer, not a power puncher or a slugger.

And this thread is about chin, not about KD's. there is a difference. You can get knocked down by being off balance. You can also get knocked down or Koed becasue you take one Flush to the head and it disrupts your brain function causing you to go down.

Ok, I was mistaken, but I do remember him holding on for dear life.

alrite Bazooka your admitting that zabs foot wasnt on top of floyds, thats step 1. yea theyre feet 'grazed' eachothers but its common sense that floyd would have still been off balance and his glove still woulda touched the canvass. stop being so damn anal and use common sense. after the reply in between rounds both commentators said that it should have been counted as a KD.. they didnt say zabs foot was on top etc.. ;)

DISAGREE-Floyd was off balance from the beggining and his glove was gonna graze to keep himself off the canvas....I think it was a clear "TKD" but floyd wasnt hurt nor tested in ne way by it

Well if he sought the toughest opposition you'd have probably seen him really hurt maybe knocked down or out, or maybe not.

But even though he didn't test himself against the Tzsyu's, Mosley's, Cotto's, Williamses you now would like to assume his chin/defense holds up against the great fighters/punchers from the past?

Somehow I find something fundamentally wrong with that line of thinking, maybe it's just me?...or maybe not :nut

It's well established in this thread alone that fraud's chin HAS been tested.

He got rocked by Corley but recover fast thanks to his defense. But other then that i only seen him only the canvas once when he went down because his hand was hurting and when zab caught him off balance which the ref didnt catch but it wouldnt make a difference anyways.

I agree, also, Corley stunned Mayweather twice in that fight. Mayweather has a great chin. I've watched all of his fights.
