    He's boxed amateur. It's actually others that confirm it about him. Woodhall has said it a couple of times while in his presence.

    Yeh, he's mentioned it from time to time on TV as have others but not made a big deal out of it.

    He was a superb amateur and beat some top fighters....

    Commonly referred to as 'Englands best fighter who never went Pro'

    Believe it or not, that's a fact. They even had a pic of him in his amateur days on Setanta's website once- was amazing:yep!

    I remember seeing a photo of him as a young journalist, complete with a full head of hair! :smooch
