Oh, do Hughie and Phill live in a marsupial pouch on Tyson? Everything makes sense now.

It may be losing steam. I think that it is a possibility, but it may also be picking up. There are two possibilities here, but also we must not forget the plateau option. Perhaps it is a steady course, depending on your definitions of key words.

Its neither negative or positive. Its an observation and one worth making. Ward hasn't done anything at light heavyweight yet to prove that he's well suited to the division or at least not at world level. Couple that with the fact that he's only fought three times in the past four years and while 32 isn't exactly " old" at this day and age it isn't exactly youthful either. He's unproven at 175. And even if he is worthy of being a top rated 175 pounder, one super fight with Kovalev doesn't exactly indicate a strong division across the board.

He looks good on film and having a string of former champs on your win list always looks good. But Cloud and Campillo were finished. And having only 9 fights at age 31 historically doesn't always make for the longest or brightest of careers. He's very talented but only time will tell if he's the real deal. I'm not ready to invest in too much stock in him yet.

Well I guess that sums up the entire state of the division... Sergei Kovalev is Russian.

IB funfact: Hussein Hussein - brother of the Nedal "Skinny" Hussein that once took a young (also skinny, but not with a capital S or anything) Emanuel Dapidran Pacquiao life & death - doesn't have a middle name, but if he did, by the law of averages, you would have to assume it would be the same as Barack Obama's. His ring name, however, does go in the 'middle' between his first and last - and is short for one. Maybe the other. Maybe both. Mind blown... à la Budd Dwyer.

funfact #2: Budd was actually his middle name. But how interesting would the story be if about someone as generically named as "Bobby Dwyer"?

I hope that settles everybody's confusion. Like a pinch of loose-leaf oolong, left straight in the cup, no sieve. YOLO!!!!!!!!!!!!
