If Roy wasn't a drugs cheat - of which I'm unconvinced either way, I think cheating is rife within all of professional sports and the 90s seemed to be a particularly bad time for it - then he's prob the most athletic fighter I've ever seen fight.

Yes he did. Pacquiao was a faster fighter moving laterally. He moved around the ring like he was on an air hockey table. He glided on his feet.

Nobody mentions Ali....seriously? Do you children accept the fact that there WERE MEN BOXING BEFORE PACMAN AND FLOYD AND RJJ?? Or were you all born very recently? Like, yesterday?

    FFS....

Watch Jones Toney... there were times Jones was behind Toney without him knowing. Jones foot speed was on another level.

This isn't about Jones being the hardest hitter ever at MW. This is about Jones being a harder puncher than Pacquiao P4P.

Who did Pacquiao KO below 130?

Jones dropped iron-chinned Toney. He knocked out Hill with a right hand to the body. When have you ever seen a fighter get knocked out from a RIGHT to the body?

I remember in one thread someone said Khan has faster hands than RJJ. :rofl

Prime RJJ makes Khan look like a glacier. There's no comparison whatsoever.

Yes he had a little bit faster handspeed than Pacquiao.

Pacquiao's best class was 126 and RJJ best class was 168. So for him to have faster hands than Manny despite being way bigger is incredible.

p4p footspeed is even I think. But an overall sense, Manny glides considerably better than RJJ. Pac was on air hockey.

Who did Pacquiao KO before 130? Well let's see he KO'ed a top 15 flyweight of all time despite being a malnourished teenager.

He KO'ed all 9 of his world title opponents at 122 that wasn't stopped for DQ/Medical reasons.

At 126 he stopped Barrera. He also knocked Marquez down three times in the first round. And in his final fight at 126 he easily KO'ed another quality fighter.

So don't say he didn't KO people below 130. He was flooring everybody.

Jones knocked out Thomas Tate, a guy who went the distance with Julian Jackson, in 2 rounds.

I already said he floored iron-chinned Toney. Toney was able to take hits from HWs.

Look what he did to Art Serwano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOs39bxFb18

And Pacquiao knocked out Barrera (total beatdown actually) who at that time couldn't even be stunned by Prince Naseem. Arguably the hardest punching featherweight of all time.

From 122-126 the only man who could go the distance with Pacquiao was Marquez who was floored 3 times.

Jones had power, but not that type of power.

Hamed may have been the hardest punching FW ever, but Julian Jackson was arguably the hardest P4P puncher ever.

And Toney was able to take punches from HWs. That's more impressive.
